The food is nice. The hotel staff is very helpful when I highlight the basin plumping issues and hotel staff get it resolved very quickly.

Amazing view! Street market is just behind so can get food easily.

Great location and the warm hospitality! Love the amenities provided in the room. The pillow is quite soft for me, preferred hard pillows. Great views from the room! Very peaceful at night.

This is the super-best hotel from my opinion. The view is wonderful.

The hotel was beautiful, about 50 meters from the pier as you get off the boat. The hotel staff were very welcoming and spoke good English. Our room was available before our check-in time which was really handy and the room was incredibly clean and spacious. The staff do go above and beyond to ensure your stay with them meets your needs and will aid in organising transport that fits in with your itinerary. We’ve never stayed in a hotel where it felt the staff genuinely cared about our time spent in their area. After worrying over how to get from Sun Moon Lake to our next destination, the hotel staff helped plan our bus routes, arrange a taxi service and called us in the morning to ensure we were up for the very early bus we needed to catch. Ita Thao in our opinion is the best side of the lake to stay, everyone is very friendly and the street food is much better. In addition the cable car service is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, which takes you to the beautiful Aboriginal Village and theme park. Boat rides, paddle boats, kayaks, bikes, electric scooters are all a stones throw from the hotel and a 15 minute cycle from Wenwu Temple. We did in-depth research into all the accommodation around the whole of Sun Moon Lake and we can say for certain, this hotel is perfect. Thank you and hope to see you again in the future.

Good hotel, in a nice location.  Comfortable bed and good view of the lake.  Friendly and helpful staff.  I would recommend they improve their breakfast offering as felt very average, especially for vegetarians.

Best place to stay in uta thao!! Walking distance to the pier and street foods. Pic view from 8th floor.

Hotel is just opposite Ita Thao pier, convient to take boat around the lake. It is next to the night market street. Ropeway station is also within walking distance. Room amenities are complete, including dental floss. Only issue is hotel has no twin sharing bedroom.

Loved the view from the room overlooking the pier. The breakfast was nice.

The hotel is in a very good location for shoping & restaurant & the view from the hotel room is superb. There are a full glass windows at the room with balcony to see the lake view.

A simple clean and good location with friendly staffs…. Although is 2-3 stars, I rate it as 5-stars… not much facilities but good for travellers….. thumb up 👍

Location: Excellent! It is located next to the ticketing office and hence, easier to buy boat ticket. We are lucky to get a complimentary upgrade to a four bedder and it faces the lake. It was beautiful. There are a lot of eateries and shops selling local delicacies so not too worry about meals. Breakfast : at level 2. Breakfast is simple - serves toast and Chinese porridge with dishes Hotel room: clean and neat. I love the hair conditioner ! Receptionist : polite and helpful Would recommend this hotel for its superb location and convenience.
