The bathtub in the room is very large, and it’s really comfortable to take a bath in the cold weather❤️ It also comes with a bathrobe!
The disposable toilet is also very considerate, and you are never worried about whether it will freeze or freeze your PP.
There are many choices for breakfast, including porridge, bread, salad, and fruits. They seem to be standard but everything is available.

Minsu located near to hot spot town area - where u can get to 7-11 and others restaurants/fast foods, and Swiss Garden.
The room is great with splendid view from window and balcony.
My only issues - rare there is no toiletries provided other than body and hair shampoo, hair conditioner and body lotion. Fortunately there is 7-11 nearby. The last thing I need is to spend $ for such simple thing, which should be provided in the room.
Another issue I had is the path to building is covered with feeble stones and lots of staircase. Obviously, this minsu is for lite travellers. If you carry heavy luggage, well, good luck carry it till you reach your room floor 😓
Owner need to think about travellers with heavy luggage as the path is not user friendly 😉

I really had a great time during this trip to Cingjing, Nantou. When I checked into the hotel, the staff provided excellent service and were very enthusiastic. Spring Ground Hotel is in good Location and close about 5mins drive to CingJing Farm. If you take Nan Tou Bus, you can drop off at Shou Ting Bus Stop, it will be just 1min walk to the Hotel. It's very convenience. Hotel's scenery and hotel itself is very Beautiful. In early of Nov, The weather is so nice. Day time is ok around 25c and Night Time around 15-18c. There is no need for air conditioner. Hotel Breakfast is just ok. If you want to go to CingJing Farm or small market, you can inform the hotel staff, they are nice to help you. Hotel also have a good Mala Hot Pot restaurant. Restaurant need you to order at least 1set per person but the price is reasonable and very good tasty. We are all happy staying here.

The best part about this hotel (国民賓館) is its location. Bus 6664, 6658, 6659 all stop less than 80m from its entrance if you're using Nantou bus. It's along the main road which is easy for pickups if you're joining local day or night tours. Across the road from Little Swiss Garden. Even Cingjing Farm has signs along its walking paths directing visitors to the hotel.
The other main benefit was that the room rates I paid on Trip.com included a pair of tickets to Green Green Grassland, Little Swiss Garden and a discounted ticket (only need top up 30TWD each) to the Cingjing Skywalk - pleasantly surprised to know this only at check-in although I knew beforehand that the room rates included basic Chinese breakfast for 2, which was another convenient point for guests.
The hotel buildings and room was a bit dated, no aircon since the weather in the evening and morning is cooling. But the room, bed, utilensils and toilet were clean. The view from the room balcony and hotel garden was nice to view sunset.

It's easy to reach by foot, and it can be said to be the most convenient homestay in the Qingjing Farm area.The Star Villa is about 1,800 meters above sea level. Although it has a convenient location, it is far away from Taiwan Route 14A, which makes the traffic on the road seem to have nothing to do with the Sky Star Resort; it also has a wide view of the park and faces Taiwan. There are several well-known mountains such as Snow Mountain Range, Shoucheng Mountain, Dongyan Mountain, Baigu Mountain, and you can see a magnificent mountain view.

The entrance of the hotel was rather obscure. We arrived at night and it was scary driving to the villa. The roads are narrow and steep. People should consider arriving when the sky is still lit.

The owner of the B&B is a very nice person and makes you feel very comfortable.
When I enter the store, the boss will buy me a cup of tea🍵. Then I have a lot of transportation questions to ask the boss, and the boss patiently helps me with my inquiries and gives me opinions. His attitude is really not too good. I remember that when I arrived early, I left my luggage at the front desk before check-in time. When I came back, my luggage had already been sent to the room. The boss also taught me how to use the TV 📺 He was really very attentive
The hotel room is quite large, and the facilities are very new. There is a hot water machine. The owner said that this may be the newest B&B on this nearby street. There is an Internet TV in the room where you can watch YouTube and so on. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry!
There are all shops and restaurants nearby. The location is like a small town. Many shops are concentrated together. If you want to take the bus, it is only a 2-minute walk, which is very convenient! Then, the B&B sells Sun Moon Lake ferry tickets, which are quite cost-effective. It’s cheaper than buying them yourself.

PPEASHOOTSThe hotel was beautiful, about 50 meters from the pier as you get off the boat. The hotel staff were very welcoming and spoke good English. Our room was available before our check-in time which was really handy and the room was incredibly clean and spacious.
The staff do go above and beyond to ensure your stay with them meets your needs and will aid in organising transport that fits in with your itinerary.
We’ve never stayed in a hotel where it felt the staff genuinely cared about our time spent in their area. After worrying over how to get from Sun Moon Lake to our next destination, the hotel staff helped plan our bus routes, arrange a taxi service and called us in the morning to ensure we were up for the very early bus we needed to catch.
Ita Thao in our opinion is the best side of the lake to stay, everyone is very friendly and the street food is much better. In addition the cable car service is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, which takes you to the beautiful Aboriginal Village and theme park. Boat rides, paddle boats, kayaks, bikes, electric scooters are all a stones throw from the hotel and a 15 minute cycle from Wenwu Temple.
We did in-depth research into all the accommodation around the whole of Sun Moon Lake and we can say for certain, this hotel is perfect.

TTravel_with_soo_yanI travelled with a group of friends and stayed at a 6ppl family room at Euro Country Villa. The view from the room balcony was stunning! I feel very relaxed seeing such a pretty view in the early morning when I wake up and the room was as spacious as expected. Although there is no air conditioning (but I saw heating available) available, I don't think it's needed anyway given it's quite windy and cool at night even in summer.
During check-in, we were told they served both afternoon tea and breakfast. Breakfast is good with simple food, I didn't have a chance to enjoy their afternoon tea but I heard they served tea and cookies.
Just one reminder - If you do not drive like me, it will take you ~10 mins walk (＜15mins if you have luggage on this sloped unpaved road) from the nearest bus station/convenience store. Might not be the most ideal if you carry very bulky heavy luggage. That said, you might still find it worthy seeing this stunning view when you get up.

DDarrenAbout 5-7 minutes walk from the Sun moon lake drop off area, which was convenient. The room was a lot bigger than I expected, did not expect to have an additional bed as I was travelling solo. With another travelling companion it would be really worth the price. There was even an entire outside area! Staff were friendly, and also provided breakfast, which was nice. The location of the room is about another 2-3 minutes walk from the reception, and was quiet and relaxing even in the day. Only concern might be that the rooms might feel abit old (being a wooden cabin and all) and eerie at night, since there is not much lighting. Also WiFi is not very good in the room

Breakfast is served at the counter, 200 Taiwan dollars per person for Western food, and there is also bread for 100 Taiwan dollars at the counter. If you don't have access to a car, be prepared for a few transportation challenges. Walking to and from the bus stop to Cing Jing Farm can be a bit challenging, as there are no dedicated pedestrian pathways, and you'll be sharing the road with trucks and lorries. The nearest 711 convenience store is a considerable distance away, and I wouldn't recommend walking there due to safety concerns.
On the plus side, the hotel's customer service is exceptional, particularly their prompt responses on LINE. They were incredibly helpful in answering my questions about navigating the sometimes confusing public transport system.
One of the standout features is the breathtaking view from the balcony. On clear days, you can enjoy unforgettable sunsets, making it a fantastic spot to relax. While some guests have mentioned concerns about sound insulation, I personally didn't find it to be a major issue. However, it's worth noting that noise from neighboring rooms, especially if there are children, maybe more noticeable due to the wooden floors.

CCYY1111I booked Lake View Quad 1 Room 2 Nights. Inside the room two large double beds were placed side by side on one side of the room, leaving a small passage to place your luggages and to move within the room. The two beds were sufficient for 4 pax. But the beds were so close, there was no walking space between them. One can only get out of the bed via the foot of the bed. This is not ideal for senior people who may need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. So if you are travelling with seniors, take the twin / double room instead. The savings is not worth it. Plus the room has really limited space for 4 adults to be moving around.
The plus point for this hotel is that it has an amazing view of the lake and there are many shops along the street. Do note that the walls are thin, you can hear your neighbours next door, especially if they sat at the balcony. There was no shower curtain so the whole toilet was wet after our shower. We didn't use the tub as it was not easy for the seniors to sit inside. No amenities except Shampoo and Body Soap.
