I stayed here once 3 years ago and I thought it was the most cost-effective hotel in Yanping. But now it’s really no longer possible. If the faucet is broken, it will not be repaired, and if the wall is damaged, it will not be maintained.
I communicated with the hotel where I checked in at 4 o'clock in the morning to extend the check-out time without affecting the check-in of other guests. The hotel refused straight away and called me at 11 o'clock in the morning, which was super frustrating.
Of course, we have something to say, the breakfast is quite good, the lady who makes breakfast is also very nice, and the security uncle at the front desk is also a good person!

南平排名第二位的豪華酒店，剛剛裝修過。但是，我們入住的高級套房，顯然沒有，因為別人的評論裏説房間有“小度小度”。好在房間還算乾淨。接下來吐槽一下服務:問前台要礦泉水，被告知要收錢，每瓶3元，無語至極！適逢颱風格美，風雨交加，無法離店購買。因此狠心消費。這是我最不滿的地方。出外遊玩住過無數酒店，第一次消費購水，獻給了一個小城市。本來不想寫，但是想到作為一個城市象徵般的存在，不能因為身處二三線城市就減低對自己的要求。服務業應該更注重細節。另外，908房間的裏面門把手斷裂，裏面無法開門。存在極大的安全隱患，希望酒店引起重視！

I was scared to see a lot of bad reviews before, but the price/performance ratio is really high. The server at the front desk is also very considerate. The check-out system is 24 hours. The lady at the front desk even delayed my stay. The breakfast was also good and it was the end time. It's a bit early, and there was no malicious price increase during May Day. I stayed in a round bed room with river view. The scenery is quite beautiful and the area is large. Compared to the Accord, it is very close to the city. Takeaways can be delivered upstairs and smoking is allowed. Come to this hotel in Yanping Don’t miss it!

SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

GGuest UserGreat location in terms of getting to the Wuyishan national park via the free public bus. Breakfast was good and there's a lot of snacks provided. We had a free tea/snack tasting session when we checked in, which was a nice touch (but they will also try to sell the tea/snacks to you). The lady who was in charge of the building was really attentive and helpful, and even arranged a good taxi for the transfer to the train station. Appreciated the free room upgrade they gave us as well. Lastly there was a mahjong room in our building which was fun (for those who play!) Overall a lovely place to stay when visiting Wuyishan.

AAnneHad a lovely 3 night stay over Christmas break. Took a 3 hour high speed train from Shanghai. The hotel offers free pick up service from the train station with reservation made in advance. Everything was very smooth. When we arrived at the hotel, my kids enjoyed the buggy ride from the main lobby to our villa, where there was a nice tea, fruit, and pastries waiting for us. The hotel is very close to the National park. It’s about a 30 min walk to the south entrance where you can get tickets for the bus that takes you around the park to the hiking trails and bamboo raft trip. Remember to bring your passport. We forgot but our photos were accepted as ID.
On our way out, we had some pictures taken on-site. We forgot to book in advance but the staff were very accommodating.
We do not speak mandarin at all but we were able to get by with Google translate, WeChat, and some of the staff are English speaking.
Overall, the Villas are very nice. The pictures look exactly as shown. A true 5 star. Would highly recommend.

NNathan JJThis hotel is easily one of the best I have ever stayed at.
The service is very warm. When I arrived there late at night, the woman at the check-in desk walked me through the various attractions in the Wuyishan Scenic Area, and provided a helpful map. Similarly, when I left, the hotel staff helped me arrange my taxi to the train station.
The room was spacious, modern, and clean. They provide water bottles and Wuyishan tea. The shower was very comfortable, too. The room was a great place to relax after a long day of mountain climbing.
There are many good amenities too. They sell Wuyishan tea sets at the front desk for a reasonable price. They have a self-service laundry room. They also have a yummy hot breakfast buffet for $25, which I think is reasonable as well. The woman running the breakfast buffet was very warm too.
Finally, the location is good for exploring Wuyishan. There is a bus stop 3 minutes away where you can catch a free city bus to the South Entrance. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the Wuyi Palace, and there is a city bus you can catch to there too. The Sangu District, where the hotel is located, is clean and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed walking the main road at night.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend this hotel for a trip to Wuyishan.

GGuest UserIt was like a lone monk who had strayed into a quiet and peaceful place and accidentally booked a stay at a villa. The courtyard is unique, with a fresh, literary and elegant feel. The boss is a senior tea connoisseur and very hospitable. We had tea together twice during our one-night stay. The owner personally brewed the fine tea from his collection and told us stories about tea. We drank through the ancient stories and tasted the tea over thousands of miles of fields. It is exactly: the interest of people, the fragrance of tea and the tranquility of the courtyard, it is a perfect place to rest.

Thanks to her, she actively communicated and coordinated with colleagues at Wuyishan Fliport Garden Hotel with her work mobile phone. She obtained two sets of exquisite souvenirs for us and sent an extra breakfast coupon. The atmosphere between the hotels under the flag of the Xiangxiang is particularly harmonious, and everyone cooperates with the tacit understanding.
