We did not notice this as other listings we've seen usually indicate whether the room itself is smoking/non-smoking. Additionally the front desk didn't ask for our preference when we were checking in. We only noticed the stench after we had settled in and were ready to sleep. The room is also equipped with a soundproofing door but we were still woken up by loud noises from the hallway and the room above. Besides these issues the room was generally spacious and bedding was comfortable.

The hotel is located in the downtown area with convenient transportation and complete commercial facilities, but the room does not feel the rhythm of the hustle and bustle. Although the hotel is a commercial and residential complex, it has a dedicated hotel elevator, and you need to swipe your card to reach the floor. The hotel has a restaurant, gym, and laundry room. My friends and I stayed at the K International hotel for one night while transitioning to Beihai. The check-in process was really long and frustrating due to the many checks that weren't informed to us before arriving. But Amy (the night supervisor) was extremely helpful. She upgraded our room to the 17th floor, gave us a discount for lounge drinks, and tried to book the shuttle for us to the train station. When we finally arrived at our rooms, we were impressed. The rooms were really lovely (with comfy pillows), and the beautiful bathtub I used was very relaxing. The breakfast had different options and was delicious but could have had more western-style foods. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the K International and would recommend it to anyone visiting Nanning.

The hotel is located near Nanning's landmark Jinhu Square. It is surrounded by Guangxi branches of major banks and government agencies. It is similar to Shanghai's Lujiazui Financial Center. It is a safe, quiet and comfortable place to be quiet in the bustle. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel and a few minutes' walk from the subway. It is not far away and is conveniently located near various attractions. The decoration of the hotel has become dated over time, but the new furniture still retains its warmth. The staff are very polite and considerate in treating guests, and the price-performance ratio is very high. I don't know how my companions can place the necessary things. Second, the hotel does not have a self-service laundry room, but it provides laundry services for tourists. This is a considerate move but would be detrimental to the privacy of our passengers.

The hotel is very close to the night market. We arrived at the hotel at 2 a.m. and walked to the night market. Although many stalls had closed, we could still get something to eat. The room was very new and not too small, but I really don't understand why a new hotel opened 24 years ago doesn't have electric curtains. In addition, the long sofa with a table was placed where the curtains were, so it was not convenient to open and close the curtains! I didn't see any sandals for the shower, and the phone in the room was just a decoration and couldn't make calls... Other than that, everything was ok, and the front desk service attitude was also good.
