The location of the inn is excellent. It is old (100 years old) and is suitable for those who want to experience staying in an earth building (there is a separate bathroom in this earth building). The boss was very enthusiastic and drove to the gate of the scenic spot to greet us personally, making him feel like he was staying at home. The room was clean and tidy, and the location was good. It was next to the big banyan tree and the windmill. The boss was very nice. I told him that we had our children and he would pick us up at the door right away. He also sent us to the station when we left. If I have the chance to go again in the future, I will stay at his house again.

Yunshuiyao Countryside Inn is a treasure inn that you will not want to leave once you come. Stayed for 3 consecutive days, and the experience was particularly good. First of all, the landlord's family is very nice, simple and kind, warm and thoughtful, the room is clean and sanitary, the price is affordable, the homestay is right in the scenic area, next to Hegui Building, quiet in the bustling, the environment is quiet, the third floor platform has an excellent view, the view is wide, the mountains in the distance are shrouded in clouds and mist, and the nearby villages are hidden in the green fields. It is also very convenient to travel. The landlord is our tour guide and explains to us very carefully. I especially recommend the food, which is not expensive but tastes super good. I think this will be hard to beat if you want to visit the Tulou, especially at this price tag. You’re not in a Tulou itself but next door to the most famous Tulou cluster with the best viewpoint in the region only a few minutes walk up the hill.
The hotel is of course quite remote but they’ll help you arrange a driver from Nanjing train station, who can also take you around the main attractions for a little over 1,000 RMB.
The family running the hotel is very friendly, and while the rooms are basic they are comfortable enough, and again the location is incredible!

Come here during the Spring Festival, the location of this hotel is great, there is a high-speed entrance around, very close to the Tulou attractions, and the food street is on the edge of the hotel, it is super convenient to travel. She helped us to arrange a driver to get around the villages and treated us with a local tea that was very tasty. Also there lives a very cute and playful cat))) if you are not a tea lover you can order a cup of delicious coffee there. There is a good restaurant nearby where you can have a meal. We highly recommend this place.

GGuest UserI was traveling alone and a friend recommended this Firefly Inn. It is right on the roadside in Taxia Village Scenic Area. There is a beautiful view outside the window. I booked a large room for 2 nights. It was clean and tidy. The boss, whose surname is Zhang, is not very talkative but very sincere. He has arranged the best route to the Tulou and introduced the history and origin of the Tulou. He knows that the customer has a hard time traveling and will go to the nearest place to meet you at the next stop. Don’t miss the boss lady’s local chicken soup and braised bamboo shoots with pickled vegetables for dinner. They are cheap and high-quality but especially tender and delicious😋. Recommendation to all young travel companions: You can choose to charter a car when booking the inn. The boss will be the driver and tour guide throughout the journey to bring you laughter along the way. Thank you again, Boss Zhang, for giving me a pleasant two-day holiday.

GGuest UserA clean and tidy courtyard, a simple and honest shop, living here is like returning home, comfortable and cozy. At a glance, you can see green mountains and earthen buildings. Slow down and feel the beauty of life. There are two round earth buildings, both of which are relatively large, and a large number of square earth buildings, three or four larger ones, and most of them are smaller. There are no stalls in the earthen buildings, only original life. Living in the small courtyard, the earthen building is within reach and the small village can be seen at a glance. There is a small bridge and flowing water in front of the door, and mountains outside the house. Great place!

GGuest UserWhat an amazing experience to live in the “chopsticks” buildings of the four dishes and one soup! This was a small and beautiful village and the family who ran the inn helped us carry our luggage up to the inn and later down to the inn. When we arrived they cooked a dinner which was reasonable in price based on a local menu. And then during dinner, they told us that one of the family members will be running a free tour of the Tulous of four dishes one soup for us in which they explained the history of the building of the tulous, especially the oval shaped tulou. Our guide was very funny with his stories (he spoke in Chinese) and it was a lovely time seeing the artists and candy makers in the Tulous. I would highly recommend this place. We did have to bring our own towels (or at least we brought our own and they didn’t supply one), so maybe best to check.

The location of the B&B is very close to the viewing platform of Four Dishes and One Soup, which has the advantage of seeing the lights and entering the village at night. The landlady usually drinks tea in the front hall. When you pass by and she is free, she will invite you to drink tea and chat with her. The owner’s grandmother was very enthusiastic and took the children to pick tea on her own tea mountain. She also taught the children how to make tea. The science tea culture also takes children to watch various insects to increase their knowledge. A bonfire party was also organized in the evening, and the children had a great time! 蔡蔡桂嬋The location of the hotel is fantastic and our room looked directly over the tulou cluster. If you don't mind climbing up steps, you can walk to the high level observation platform in about 15 minutes for a stunning view over the valley.
The rooms and facilities are basic but clean and there is plenty of hot water. As elsewhere in China the mattresses are very hard but okay for a couple of nights.
The couple who run the business are very friendly and helpful and, if you don't want to eat out, they offer good and tasty home cooking.
