The Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is just 4 miles further south where you can charter a trip for yourself or see the afternoon catch from the charter boats. Heading the opposite way, is a short drive to the Nags Head Fishing Pier and Fish Heads Bar & Grille. A few miles further is great shopping and restaurants. A few miles further you can visit the Aquarium in Manteo or the Wright Brother's Memorial and Jockey's Ridge.
