Great
SSpirit_stoneAmazing hotel! Room size was one of the biggest I’ve seen in Japan. Close to the tram line that goes to Nagasaki peace park and right in China town. I highly recommend staying here. The onsen was nice too.
WwwhosambirThe lobby is somewhat dated but has a retro charm to it. I stayed in a standard double room which is spacious enough for one person but would be a bit cramped for two. The room seems to have been renovated recently as the fixtures, furnishings and appliances look quite new. The small balcony overlooking Glover Street is a plus.
The staff at the front desk, concierge and the restaurant are all super nice and helpful.
The location is very convenient. The Oura Cathedral tram stop is just down the street and many attractions such as Glover Garden, Dejima, Confucius Shrine & Museum, Holland Zaka, Gunkanjima Digital Museum are within walking distance.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the business district, which is very lively. Everything is available on the first floor. The sound insulation is also very good. Parking is only inconvenient. You have to park in the parking lot outside the business district. You have to go around the business district to find it. If you drive too far, you have to go around. Got it! The counter is self-service, but the lovely lady at the counter will help you chick in. I will stay here again if I have the chance.
BB_BI recently stayed at this hotel and had a very pleasant experience. If you're planning to drive, be aware that the hotel has limited free parking spaces. I recommend contacting the hotel in advance to reserve a spot. If parking is full, the front desk staff are very helpful and can suggest nearby parking options that are just a short walk away.
Check-in and check-out are both quick and convenient with the hotel's automated machines. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches—like providing nightgowns for guests. If you need to do laundry, there’s even a coin-operated washing machine available.
The room comes with a full set of kitchen appliances, which is super convenient for light cooking or prepping fruits and snacks. While the room isn't very large, it still offers enough space for a baby to move around comfortably.
Overall, a clean, efficient, and cozy stay with thoughtful amenities that made a real difference.
EEKKkkNice resort we even visited.
Resort occupied nearly 60% area of Lojima.
3 onsen areas offer without extra charges.
Worth to spend whole day in the resort, dinner is recommended as well.
And of course, staffs are friendly and helpful, higher than normal Japanese standard.
We must book again when we going to Nagasaki
Only one drawback is light show at night, too expensive and nothing special for us.
MmharsnThe pictures over promise and the guest house under delivers. It is in a good location and the staff is friendly enough, but not all sleeping areas look like the pictures. Some private areas go width wise instead of lengthwise, so they have only half the floor space for standing up. And if you have an upper bunk, then the ladder takes up 20% of that floor space. Towels are not included. For the breakfast, you make the toast yourself from bread in the refrigerator. By 8:00 a.m., people are brushing their teeth and using the hair dryer in the center of the dorm room, so you won't be able to sleep.
Overall it's ok, and better than most capsule hotels. But don't let the pictures get your hopes up too high.
KKenny SiaA little disappointed with their cancellation policy. I made 2 separate bookings for 3 rooms for the same period for my family of 5 pax on the same day. 1 with 2 rooms and 1 with single room. Due to change of iternary, I had to cancel the rooms and booked other hotel eventually. The 2 rooms booking was cancelled and refunded without any issue. However, that single room wasn't able to cancel as the date for free cancellation was over (which I didn't realised, thought all will be the same). So it was my oversight on my part. Just to highlight this to others who have booked to take note that the free cancellation dates may be different even you booked on the same day.
GGuest UserPros: Room with night view of Nagasaki Port, good value for money. Great view hot spring, and rich buffet. Cons: The room smelled musty, the soundproofing was not good, and the fan in the toilet could not be turned off, making noise all night. The hotel is located on Mount Sasesa, and it is very convenient to drive there. If you don't drive, don't consider it, as there are few hotel shuttles.
GGuest UserMy sister and I came back home and stayed at this hotel.
As it's close to the downtown area, the location isn't the best, but since we were staying overnight, we were able to relax in a spacious room with two double beds.
As we purchased frozen items as souvenirs, we asked them to freeze the ice packs, which they kindly agreed to, which was very helpful.
We will definitely use this hotel again when we come back home.
GGuest UserThe staff were pleasant and I wanted a hotel which was very close to the hypo center and you don't get any closer than this it is literally about 50 yards from the museum and maybe 150 yards from the ground zero. The room itself was very basic it had what you would need but no more there is a shop on site which said it was going to close at 9:30 however when I went downstairs at 8.10 it was already shot so I had to go for a walk in order to buy what I needed which I was not expecting as it was pouring down with Rain. I would recommend this to solo Travelers who are younger but just make sure you arrive with drinks and food.
