The place is full of a tranquil feel and the vegetation and flowers are refreshing. Its serene you can hear yourself think. The rooms are all well kept and the beds are so comfy. The food is very very good and tastes amazing,loved it!. I liked the staff's sevice ,specifically Bright who is very responsive and very cordial. Hope to visit again before December. We had a fabulous stay at Musangano. The service is really great, the staff are well-trained, friendly and very helpful. The menu in the restaurant is exceptional and there was nothing that was not available (which is a common problem in Zimbabwe). Our family lodge was very spacious, comfortable and well appointed for a wonderful view. Kitchen was well equipped with everything thought of - including quality cutlery! Linen and towels are top quality too...... Absolutely nothing to fault here! Excellent wi-fi for those who need to keep in touch..... Plenty hot and cold water - solar water geysers, gas cooker...generator... .....and....good value! The Lodge is close to other attractions too - such at the National Trust of Zimbabwe sites, La Rochelle (Penhalonga), Fort Goma (Penhalonga), Murawah's Hill (Mutare) and World's View (Nyanga).....Tony's Coffee Shop in the Vumba...

A good private chalet and nice stopover ja short drive outside Mutare on our way to Harare.

We (12 members of ManzAid, an humanitarian Association) stayed at Musangano Lodge during a tour in Mutare region for the opening of four pediatric outpatients clinics. The lodges are extraordinary, immersed in the nature of the Eastern High lands. Silence, breathtaking views, prodigious trees and flowers. Excellent dinner with many local specialities. Professional, polite and friendly staff. The trekking led by the assistant manager was very pleasant. To return !

The Musangano Lodge is conveniently situated 25km from Mutare and is offering a variety of accommodation and is home to our mineral exploration team for the past 3 months. We find our rooms clean and well kept, spacious comfortable, well equipped, and tastefully furnished. The Lodge’s natural surroundings and well-planned facilities, make our stay most enjoyable. We are revitalized after a good nights’ rest and their hearty breakfasts are the perfect way to start each day. Returning after a day out in the field, is an absolute pleasure as we are met by warm and friendly staff who go out of their way to keep us happy. A lot of care goes into freshly prepared wholesome evening meals. The exquisite taste suggests that only fresh homegrown or locally sourced produce are used in the creation of these wonderful dishes. The Lodge has the perfect functional braai Lapa where we are treated to a wonderful braai on weekends. A very practical conference facility is also available near the braai Lapa. The management and staff of Musangano Lodge must be commended for their warm hospitality, friendliness, and exceptional service. They truly go above and beyond their call of duty to ensure that one’s stay, will be a memorable one. The Musangano lodge is highly recommended to all passers-by and long stayers.
