Hotel Regina

不建議，酒店非常難找，還有時間限制，且需要纜車才能上酒店，即使租車車輛八點後也上不去。同名酒店太多，導航根本導不到。要不是攜程服務好，這家酒店很容易讓旅客夜宿街頭

We were coming to visit Jungfrau and learned that we visiting late into the season. It turns out that it was toward the end of the season and many hotels have already closed. After searching, we found Hotel Regina and they were able to accommodate us for our stay. We emailed them about best route to get to the hotel, laundry services and best route to Jungfrau as we saw different routes online. Each time they replied promptly with great information to help us plan our stay. Laundry was very important for us because we were staying in Europe for a month and needed to pack consciously which meant we needed to do laundry mid way through our trip. There is a public laundromat about 2-3 minutes away which was perfect so we booked them right away. Customer service is 5 stars here! The hotel is located in the village of Murren and it’s a charming area. You need to catch a cable car up to the village. There’s so much character here. You also have an amazing view of the Alps. We woke up to a beautiful view each day. They also provide free breakfast during your stay. We only took advantage of this one day but it’s a traditional Swiss breakfast. I did eat here once for lunch and dinner another day. Both Swiss meals were tasty and very convenient. The staff also accommodated Mink’s desire to eat Thai Mama’s, something they don’t normally do, which made the experience more amazing. On our last day, they even allowed for us to have a late check out. I cannot have found a better place to stay and highly recommend them.

This hotel is old and creaky, but very charming. The rooms are huge by European standards. We booked a panorama view room, and the view was spectacular. I was worried about the shared bathrooms, but only once did I have to wait for a toilet, and I never had to wait for a shower. Breakfast was good, and the view from the breakfast room was breathtaking. My only complaint is that noise travels into the rooms from the hallway under the doors.

The hotel is old, thin walls so u have to be quiet at night & u can hear all the banging from other rooms. Old elevator doesn't stop at lobby so u have to carry ur luggages in 1 flight of stairs or down to basement b4 u can go to the elevator. U have to go to 1st Floor or Floor E. Sometimes elevator gets stuck too & won't open. It's like 10mins fr cable car station. In Murren, u have to rent luggage trolleys & carry ur bags to ur hotel as ds s a car free village so no pickup, so bein' far from cable car station is a disadvantage for tired tourists. The only thing u will enjoy is the mountain view from ur balcony. 2 faucets for hot & cold so u have to use something to mix the water. Toilets doesn't have bidets nor near any faucets so u have to bring water with u. No aircon, u will depend on nature's climate..so if it's summer, it gets hot at times. Now when u open the window, they dnt have insect nets so flies & bees n other bugs comes to ur bedroom. They dn't clean the room. U have to ask staff for towels. When we asked reception, they will tell u to get fr toilets but the only thing available there are rags. Breakfast is rly bad, flies around, eggs r cold, breads r hard..really not worth the money. We didn't eat our breakfast at all. It's right beside Coop, near Asian restaurant & they have provided free passes for Alpine Sportzentrum/Tourist information so that's a plus, but we really regret staying here.

Lovely historic hotel in the centre of Murren, with a wonderful outside terrace for lunch. Stunning panoramic mountain views from this hidden terrace, with a traditional Swiss menu (in German) and excellent helpful staff. As well as an excellent rosti, the flammkuchen was amazingly (a very thin german flatbread like pizza but without the tomato base).

Watch out for that double room in the 4th floor that opens to a toilet. Never in our lives have we ever seen such a hotel room that first opens to a toilet/bath before you get to your actual room. So, your other half or roommate cannot get out of the room when one is having some comfort or a bath. For the price charged, with no other rooms allegedly available, we had to take this incredibly horrid arrangement. This trumps the view of the Eiger in our memories. What a shame that the hotel admin sells such room to unsuspecting guests who are left with no other choice.
