Wecamp Cudillero

Generally a nice looking site. However, like others, I found some of the staff there to be unfriendly, and in the case of one woman working the cafe/restaurant, extremely rude. We paid €150 per night for our tent, which feels like a lot, but I could bear if staff didn’t treat us like a massive pain. I also got the impression they are anti English or more dismissive towards people not conversant in Spanish - if they only want Spanish people this should be made clear in their marketing. I have to say one woman, maybe called Anne (blond-ish) who was on reception sometimes during day (spoke good English) was friendly and helpful - to be honest just normal but she stood out from the rest due to having some basic warmth. Due to staff rudeness along with high cost, we wouldn’t return or recommend this place

A lovely campsite, quiet, clean and well maintained pool with spacious level pitches. Although technically close to the beach, it's good a few hairpin bends down to it and coming back up a bit of a mission so you may choose to drive anyway - especially with children in tow. Not in Cudillero itself either, but close to visit and worth the visit. Slightly frustrating that once I had a booking nobody would answer emails or the phone despite many attempts as we wanted to adjust our stay and couldn't....but overall a positive experience!
