BQ Alcudia Sun Village

This hotel is lovely! Definitely not a standard 3 star hotel. It’s actually probably one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed on. The location is excellent. Short walk from the beach, nice and quiet and beautiful views of the nature reserve. There’s some shops and restaurants around but not a party, noisy area. There’s also a bus stop 5 minutes walk. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was big and clean, modern bathroom with walk in shower. There was a kettle and microwave and fridge in the room. The balcony was also spacious, with a beautiful view of the wetlands. The pool area is nice and clean, with plenty of sun loungers, that are comfortable and well kept. Maybe because it was October and not super busy, but i found a chair easily every time. The bar in the pool area has self service soft drinks and plenty of choice of snacks (burgers, nuggets, pizza, salad, fruit, yogurt, ice cream). The restaurant is a bit on the small side, but i went for my meals later, so it was fine. Food was good, especially for breakfast! Amazing cocktail bar from 5.30pm, with proper cocktails! Lovely to sit down having a nice aperol spritz and watch the sunset. Mini disco seemed fun. Entertainment was good. Such a shame i only stayed for 2 nights, but definitely recommend and will come back!

The room is confortable and very clean. All the meals are various and with very good food. I became surprise when I saw"bolas de Berlim com creme" a portuguese beach cake. Beautiful views. I liked very much the washing machine for free. The pool close to soon and the animation night is to short.

Great hotel All the staff were lovely food was great plenty of choices and the snack bar at the pool had one of the best choices of any hotel we have stayed at the location is great only 2 minutes from the supermarket and five minutes from all the shops and restaurants and a leisurely 10 minute walk to the beach also has a great pool with plenty of sun beds would definitely go back

Really enjoyed our stay! Everything was perfect! Couldn’t fault anything! Food had a lot of variety and was all really nice, cannot say I had one bad meal! Drinks and cocktails on all inclusive were 10/10! Kids loved the pools always plenty of sun loungers! 5-8 min walk to the beach! Beach is lovely clear water and felt warm! Entertainment was really good also! I honestly could fault anything! I would return 100% ! The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the mosquito’s which the hotel has no control over I used 4 different things to prevent an still got bit however my kids and husband didn’t get one bite 🤣! Thank you for a lovely stay! We really enjoyed our stay!!

This was a fantastic family holiday. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times and great with our two boys, especially Pepe. The animation team were excellent and enthusiastic, particularly with the activities and the kids disco/entertainment. The food was amazing, with excellent tasty choices for all the family. There were also tasty bar snacks throughout the day for those who missed lunch and we also enjoyed the cocktails and mocktails. The rooms were clean and comfortable and cleaned daily. In terms of the location, it is just under a 10 minute walk to the beach and there are regular buses to Alcudia and other parts of the island if you wish to do some exploring. We would definitely recommend BQ Alcudia Sun Village for family holidays.

Me and my partner got back last week from a 7 night stay here and we had a wonderful time. Although the hotel is family friendly we found if you don’t mind children around having fun it’s still a great stay for couples, friends and anyone without children. We even met a lot of couples without children and friends who were also having a great time. But we saw so many kids having the best time ever and the hotel is perfect for them! The hotel was always kept clean, and our room was cleaned everyday, beds made and floor mopped without fail. The cleaning staff really deserve more recognition and the cleaners we interacted with were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. All staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and you always felt welcome. Great location of the hotel with only around a 5-10 minute walk to beach and even less to be in the area of shops and restaurants. The facilities at the hotel were great however in some areas it’s definitely showing its age. Whilst things were clean, there definitely is room for some refurbishment and maintenance to happen out of season. Whilst there we saw some steps for the pool break and become out of action, and also saw some fencing around the pool fall off multiple times and narrowly missed hitting anyone. The pool was great, not the deepest but definitely big enough to have a swim, relax and cool off from the sunshine. Some days the pool had a lot of grit, sand and rocks in vs others. Some could’ve been brought in by the storms and weather, and of course people walking it in. We went in first thing on several mornings and noticed the grittiness, it wasn’t bad but it made us wonder if the filtration system was any good for the pool or how scrupulous it was cleaned. We saw maintenance checking chlorine levels on several occasions and also lifeguards with nets going around cleaning bits out. Sun loungers were never a problem during our stay at the beginning of September. You could always get one and didn’t need to reserve one. The animation team were fantastic with the kids, and with the entertainment schedule. Plenty of entertainment for both kids and adults throughout our stay. Loved the pool activities they did such as water polo, water gym and aerobics it was all good fun! Unfortunately we saw and heard of a particular bar man and some animation team hitting on hotel guests, asking if they were single, to go clubbing and others means, and on occasion pestered some hotel guests which in my opinion wasn’t fair if they had already shown disinterest and put a boundary there. The bar man mentioned above also made a comment to a guest telling them to watch their calories after hitting on them. Also certain members of the animation team were after alcoholic drinks from guests when on shift which doesn’t sit well especially when they’re running the kids club and are on shift at work.
