GOOD: 1. Buffet breakfast was wide and varied. Appreciated that they anticipated the Valentine's volume of guests having breakfast and had addl seating and food set up in the lobby area outside Cafe 8. 2. Water refilling machine by the elevator lobby prevented used plastic bottle wastage. Good green initiative. 3. Room was still the same... Comfortable but getting old. No electric outlet on the right side of the bed? COULD BE IMPROVED: 1. Considering their check in is at 3pm vs other hotel's 2pm...we only got the sms that our room was available at 4.05pm. Then we had to queue at the check-in counter which only had 2 people! Two! It is Valentine's day and you know you have full house situation... We had to wait another 20 minutes to get our room key. Total 1.5hrs wasted before getting into our room. We then asked if we could ask for 30min extra late checkout on top of their 11am check out versus 12noon hotel standard. FLAT NO was the answer. We have mixed feelings about our latest stay in Crimson Filinvest thus the 3 out of 5 star rating for their service.

I stayed at the hotel for leisure and it was a mostly pleasant experience. The room was well maintained - not modern, but not outdated. The layout is a little bit confusing though. The restaurant was good but there are other dining options that would be worth your money. The only one sour experience among it is the spa. They were supposed to be open by 10AM but they were still closed by 10:10AM hotel time. I knocked on the glass door and the attendance on the other side didn't even bother to stand up and tell me they were still closed. She just made a hand gesture behind her desk. When I went down to the front desk, they told me it was open to which I informed them that they were mistaken because I was just there. They then called the spa and were told they needed an extra 10 minutes. Now, if I hadn't been on my way out and needed to check out by 12, this would not have been a problem. But since I had to leave and still needed to pack afterwards, this was unacceptable. Don't say you're open at 10AM and not be open at 10AM. Don't hide behind your desk to tell me you were closed without an explanation; the least you could have done was come to the door, apologize, say the reason why you couldn't open on time, and offer to put me in the first available slot. I've worked in the travel and hospitality industry for some time and I can tell you that was a failed opportunity for customer service. If you plan to stay at the Bellevue, just stay in the room. Everything else in the hotel isn't worth the amount of money paid for it.

My stay exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of a fantastic location, excellent service, and comfortable accommodations made for a memorable visit. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone whether for business or leisure.
