it was my worst expierence on that booking.. i already booked in maketytrip for the honeymoon package.. bt the resort tell me that it was mistake by the makemytrip team.. they have no package at all.. i completely cheated by makemytrip team and the resort.. also i dissapointed for my first honeymoon stay.. and it got a worst expierence.. i feel guilt.. i will ever book on make my trip anymore.. iam feder

We stayed here with a group of 12 adults and 3 children and overall we were very disappointed. It’s a nice enough property but there is not much to do nearby and driving time to get places is pretty long. Rooms were as expected and there is an outdoor area to hang out and have a fire in the evening. We had spoken with them prior to our arrival about setting up tours and specifically mentioned wanting to go to a tea plantation. On the day of the tour that they arranged for us, they took us everywhere except for the tea plantation and then tried to charge us extra money to go to one at the end of the day. At the time of booking, we paid extra to have all meals included for the group. But at the time of arrival, they informed us that none of our meals were included and we would be charged for every meal. After a lot of back and forth, they eventually did offer a discount on the food, but it was still far more than we expected to pay. Most meals were average at best but the kitchen staff was very accommodating with helping prepare food for the younger kids.

We booked The Heights as our first port of call into Kerala.  We had requested an airport pick up, which didn't arrive, so we had to take a taxi.   On arrival there was no apology. We had booked deluxe rooms, which were a big disappointment. The rooms were not very clean and were not like the photographs on the website.   There was no tea/coffee facilities, no towels, no toilet roll. After complaining, we were moved to suites, which although slightly better and a bit cleaner could not be described ascomfortable and were very damp.  The "picnic area" is nothing more than  large very dirty tiled area which was uninviting. We did not use the pool at all.  After seeing the state of the rooms we thought the pool might not be safe. It had lots of broken tiles and didn't look very clean. The only good thing to say about The Heights is that the staff there are fantastic (not the management). They were so helpful and genuinely nice people.  It's such a shame that their talents are wasted in this place. I should add that this was not our first time in India.  We have travelled to India for holidays on 6 previous occasions and have also visited several times for business so we don't have unreasonable expectations. Such a shame because the heights does have the potential to be a good place to stay with the right management in place.

The rooms were okay, but the paid food was terrible. The complimentary breakfast was even worse, with the height of selection being between bread and jelly and idili. Wifi was spotty and slow. There was also no network coverage there. The tv didn't work. Definitely not a place worth booking at if you plan on enjoying your stay.

Very bad experience, not worthy for money, pool and room not maintained, first time watching frogs near pool. Bathroom also not good. Management send photos of good room and but giving bad room. Totaly not worthy.
