Mundubbera Motel

This is a knockout motel. Arguably the very best we have stayed at. Spacious room, comfortable beds and pillows, almost everything supplied that one could wish for; full complement of crockery and cutlery complete with tea towels (washing up liquid soap only thing missing, but needed). The onsite restaurant; Allawah Bar and Grill; is also most impressive and obviously popular with locals as the Thursday night we were there the staff was kept really busy as non-motel guests rolled in; but the service did not suffer and entree and meals were first class.. Would definitely be wish to book if intending to stay at the motel and dine at the restaurant. This really is a gem of a place for travellers.

Excellent staff ,spotlessly clean and comfortable beds The motel has a Bar and Grill so we did not have to drive anywhere for our dinner and there is a great choice of meals to choose from and the meal was excellent The town is very pretty and this accommodation was excellent

Man on reception was nice, check in was quick and smooth. Room was very clean and updated. The only thing I wasn't comfortable with was no curtain or blind on the bathroom window (yes its frosted) but frosted is still see through at night. And a heads up, when someone showers in the room next door it's extremely loud through the wall. From memory I was in room 11. I ate at the bistro, service was fast, food came out promptly and was yummy. I had the stuffed chicken breast. They do have a sign asking people to keep the noise outside rooms down and to take it inside after 9 or 9.30, however the man next to me who had a deep loud voice decided to shower (once I got into bed about 9.30), and then go outside and chat loudly with his mate for a good 30 minutes or so. Would also be nice if you could make a designated smoking area away from the rooms. Not nice for non smokers to sit there smelling that right outside our door. Yes I'd recommend this motel and yes I'd stay there again but I'd ask for a room on the end.

Lovely clean motel, easy check-in with a very nice person. We'll stay here again when we go through the region but wouldn't bother with a meal this time - we ordered room service but were thoroughly disappointed with the meals. I'd recommend this motel for anyone needing a room for the night.

I was travelling with my 90 year old Aunt. These facilities are spotlessly clean and attention to detail has been applied to every aspect of the temporary accommodation experience. The room and bathroom are a generous size and well fitted out. The evening meal was delivered to the room and was delicious and well priced. Will definitely stay again

We stayed with friends at the Mundubbera Motel. The owners were really friendly and welcoming and the motel was very well presented and maintained. Reasonably prised our king room was great, very well appointed and clean and tidy. We decided to go to dinner at the motel’s licences restaurant. The menu was quite large and the meals were well presented and excellent. Two of us had the Lamb shank which was brilliant while one had the Lamb rump which she thoroughly enjoyed. My husband had the Rib Eye steak which was cooked to perfection and had a choose of sauces. The wines were also reasonably priced. Sleep quality was excellent and we had a lovely breakfast in our room
