The food and drink were of high quality, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful, often bringing drinks without being asked and ensuring there was a table reserved at meal times. However, there were a few issues that could have been easily resolved. The air conditioning was turned off throughout the hotel, leaving all rooms uncomfortably warm, around the high 20s. Despite multiple complaints, the air conditioning remained off, making it difficult to sleep. This should have been mentioned in the booking information, as it is with other hotels. Additionally, the WiFi was unavailable for half of our 10-day stay. Normally, this would be a minor inconvenience, but as a TUI Blue hotel, all bookings and activities are managed through the Blu app, which was unusable without WiFi. Lastly, there was a significant influx of seaweed on the beach. While the hotel couldn’t control this, they could have addressed the flies that swarmed the hotel as a result, which became a major annoyance.
