One of the most enjoyable hotels I have ever stayed. Great services and amenities. Loved the pool. Breakfast was excellent in a beautiful little courtyard. Will surely stay again if we visit the area.

This was our favorite hotel of our recent 2 week trip to France, and, our biggest regret is that we did not stay longer! Book at least 2 nights to be able to enjoy the pool, grounds, restaurant, and relax. We were greeted at the gate by lovely staff, who then assisted with our luggage while we parked. We were given a tour and warmly welcomed. We stayed in the lavendar room, and, it was absolutely lovely. They did have washcloths (which we found not all hotels did), and, we were given lovely night shirts to wear during our stay. We inadvertently did not have a reservation for dinner, and they were able to help us with this. We thoroughly enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. Additionally, we rented the hotel's electric boat on the lake, and it was lovely. We rented for 1 hour and enjoyed driving around the gorge and lake. There are other electric boats available for rent at the lake, but I think the hotel's boat looked a bit more comfortable. Lastly, Moustiers-Saint-Marie itself is an absolute gem. We will be back to stay!

The room was very nice decorated, with our own terrace. The gardens from le bastide with all the herbs are wonderful. Unfortunately we had a lot of flies in the room and it was difficult to get the right temperature. The bathroom had a shower in the bath, which was n’t very comfortable while the bathroom was very big. The beds were perfect. All in all we had a pleasant stay.

We visited La Bastide De Moustiers during our 2 week travels thru Provence, what an experience!! We stayed at La Bastide on my birthday and was treated like a king! Great table in the front of the restaurant with incredible view, food was absolutely delicious and the wine was well paired with the meal. All the staff was kind, helpful and considerate. The room was beautiful. We will repeat the trip to Provence in the future and will for certain stay at La Bastide De Moustiers again!!

It is rare that the actual experience of a hotel surpasses the expectations set by their web site, but that describes our experience here. This is a beautiful property -- great rooms, very comfortable and luxurious, nice (though limited) public spaces, uncrowded pool, and the setting is one of the most beautiful we've been to anywhere. The web site really doesn't do justice to the property. The food has also been excellent, both at breakfast and at dinner, though the dinner menu is limited, so for a stay of more than a few days you might plan to try other places some nights. The setting for dinner on the terrace is one of the most spectacular we've experienced anywhere in the world. And the service has been very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended; we hope to return again some day soon!

A charming French hotel with understated elegance, and a restaurant that is one of the best I have experienced. We have dined at a number of Michelin restaurants in our city of San Francisco, and you look for unique and pleasurable food, excellent ambience, and top notch service. This place checks all the boxes. (It reminds me very much if the charming and well appointed places you will find in Napa Valley) You dine on a patio overlooking the stunning views of the private gated grounds, and you feel at peace. The sun sets and the subtle patio lights come on, and the staff starts with a glass of champagne and a bottle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape we ordered, and they continue this elegant dance of serving our food and wine, where every detail and need receives attention. There is not a stuffy vibe to be found - the staff was warm, hospitable and kind enough to bridge the gap between English and French (I speak some, but not enough). What a memorable experience! Oh, and if you happen to be coming via helicopter, they have a landing pad onsite.

We stayed for three nights and four days in June at Bastide de Moustiers and left so relaxed and happy. The service was excellent and the grounds are beautiful. We really loved the convenience of dining at the restaurant on grounds - I adored the risotto and when I went to order it again, they offered alternative options off menu for me to try more. Great wine list, and for the price it felt like a steal. Breakfast was absurd (in a good way.) It felt like a perfect intersection of luxury and comfort. Also, it was in a great location for us to enjoy lac sainte croix and the gorges and the hiking immediately accessible off the grounds were beautiful.

Sehr schöne provencalisches Hotel mit ausgezeichneter Sterneküche (Alain Ducasse). Bester Service ever. Freundlich, aufmerksam, gastnah und charmant. Zum entspannen ist es perfekt. Als Ausflüge unbedingt Moustier und die Schlucht von Verdon besichtigen.

Le Cadre est magnifique, romantisme garanti! Le personnel souriant et toujours à l'écoute. Nous avons dîné et dormi dans une chambre à l'intérieur de la bastide . Belle chambre , bien décorée et literie très confortable. Pour le point , un peu moins positif , le dîner gastronomique du Jardin! Nous avons été déçu par les différents plats qui ,pour nous , devaient relever de l'excellence.(Etoile au Michelin) Toutefois ,nous avions choisi de faire confiance au Chef en prenant le menu "surprise" mais le plat principal comportait un viande de gibier ,pas à notre goût. Celui-ci a été aussitôt remplacé... Une note moins bonne non plus pour le plateau de fromage qui n'offrait pratiquement que du fromage de chèvre! Les vins sont un peu chers mais nous avons pu apprécier un vin rouge de Provence excellent. Pour conclure nous sommes reparti plutôt déçu.Dommage
