PPengguna AnonimI wish I had taken more photos of the hotel and the. room we stayed in. the hotel has a homey and welcoming feel. the beds are very Comfortable and the water pressure is good. the decorations are designed to make you feel the seaside feeling of the island. this hotel was so clean, the daily upkeep was meticulous even with my sandy children coming in from the beach, each time we returned to the room it was spotless. the owner of the hotel went above and beyond to help us understand the bus and ferry booking, he gave the best tips on where to go and what to see. there the island itself was busy but we found the beaches empty and the children had a Wonderful time playing in the waves. I will return and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to relax.

GGeorge MuletRose from Ocean Haven was such a big help this weekend. We booked this hotel for the Can Festival due to its close proximity. Rose called me once I booked the room to make sure we appropriate transportation to the hotel from Ningbo Railway Station. We exchanged WeChat contact information, and she was able to answer all my questions leading up to and during our stay. The room was clean, the amenities were great. The location and views from the hotel were fantastic. My only complaint was that the city doesn’t allow us to swim in the beach in front of the hotel, but the pool made up for it 👍🏼 Great hotel and great service. Thank you Ocean Haven.

TTamuChallenging for foreigners right now. Went for my birthday this year. Plan to sit by beautiful outdoor pool, go to beach, see some temples, eat some good food. Despite paying for upgrade, our room was on ground floor looking directly on construction. However, they did move us to a smaller room with great views. Also, pool was “closed”. The whole reason I booked the hotel. However, after much negotiation, they let me use the pool. The food was supposed to be excellent, but was really just mediocre. My travel partner is Chinese and I have lived here 8 years. I was just hoping the Chinese food was better. I didn’t even try the western food, as it did not look appealing. Also, rules were not consistent. One morning we could eat breakfast outside, next morning we could not. So a bit of a challenging birthday trip.

TTamuHotel has good location. There is free shuttle service from the port to the hotel. Outside the hotel has many restaurants and is near the temple. The staff is very accomodating especially 石志勇先生. His service and assistance helped our stay become very comfortable and convenient.

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh. First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle. The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got. They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai. Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure! Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

TTamuThe boat back to Shanghai was canceled, so we had to stay overnight. The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from the pier, new, clean, and well-maintained. Check-in was quick and efficient. While the staff were not fully familiar with foreign guest registration, they handled it professionally and made an effort to resolve everything smoothly. We booked two rooms, both spacious and well-equipped. Service was responsive, extra towels and slippers arrived almost immediately after we requested them. Breakfast exceeded expectations, mostly Chinese options, with decent coffee. Overall, a very solid choice for a spontaneous overnight stay.
