The towels were stiff and hardened. The pillow core had been extremely flattened and was filled with the smell of old hair oil. The wallpaper, curtains, and sofas were full of cigarette odor. The bathroom sewer was blocked and unsmooth. There was no choice for eating and shopping around... In short, the stay experience was not good. Nice, basic hotel in a great location. 3.0 star Western standard. Room was clean and spacious. Next door to a great shopping mall and walking distance to a beach and local attractions. Breakfast was fine for the price. Housekeeping is hit-and-miss starting in the afternoons. They forgot to restock our toothbrushes and water bottles more than once. We waited an hour for water one night and they completely skipped turndown service the next night. Probably a staffing issue. Otherwise, the stay was satisfactory and we would choose to stay there again.

The Japanese restaurant is pricey but worth every cent. It is a little far from the city but the staff are ready to call a taxi at the drop of a hat. Excellent hotel.
