The hotel is in an excellent location, within 10 minutes from the Isle of Palms beach. The breakfast area was a nice amenity with good food selections.Housekeeping was pretty good, although they did not vacuum the room, a requirement for me for beach area hotels. Also, the bathroom in the room we were assigned to had not been serviced by maintenance in a while. The tub was aged with areas of rust in the tub near the drain, and an un-repaired shower bar near the top entrance of the tub/shower. We may use the hotel again with reiteration on expectations and an agreement that such expectations will be met.

Excellent hotel in Mount Pleasant just miles from the beach! Friendly staff and clean facilities! This hotel is in a nice area walking distance to several shops and restaurants! Will definitely stay here in the future! Super impressed with the 2 bedroom suite that we booked!

Excellent Stay ! What we love most about Residence Inn suites are the full kitchen. It's very convenient to prepare light meals, making the suite feel like home away from home. The complimentary breakfast provides enough options to make everyone happy. The Mount Pleasant location was great for a quick drive to downtown Charleston, and Isle of Palms Beach and so many other places to visit.

This is one if the worst hotels i have ever stayed in. After driving over 8 hours to get there and check in i was rudely accused of booking the room wrong. The assistant manager Tom was nasty and accusatory towards me. They didnt want to give me the rate i booked even though i am platinum elite. I would have left then but it was a very busy holiday weekend. I asked for a quiet room and got laughed at saying there are no quiet rooms. My room was musty smelling and there was hair in the shower and all over the carpet. The stay was terrible. I complained to Marriott but never got any email or call from them. Do not stay here.

The place was convenient and suited our needs for a two bedroom suite. The kitchen was nice and the showers were great. The first night black ants were found in one of the beds. The next morning a brown German cockroach was found crawling across the bed. Another two bedroom suite was not available for them to switch us to.

Members of our family were there for a 2 week post surgery recovery. My sister and I were there for a few days with them . The suite and the hotel was exceptionally clean, well maintained and all the common areas especially the kitchen and dining were remarkably well attended and hygienically clean. It turned out to be the best choice for our recovering post surgery relative. Many thanks and Many Blessing to ach and every staff member we encountered. Each was helpful and eager to answer questions, respond cheerfully and equally concerned to the post-op patient's well being and our family.

Great experience all around. Quick check in. Staff very friendly. Loved the breakfast and Leonora over the breakfast area was so kind and went out of her way to greet everyone and offer assistance. She was so cheerful and busy constantly cleaning and assisting folks. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Check out easy. Definitely will sty again.

Checking in with my wife last night 1/14/24 using an awards night I had on my Bonvoy account for a quick getaway to the Charleston area. Picked this Residence Inn based on its central location. After checking in we were assigned room 204. Navigating the hotel noticed there were dehumidifiers (at least 4 or 5) on each floor. Thought that was odd until we got to our room and realized upon entry the room smelled terribly musty… to the point it nauseated both of us. Also the shower curtain rail was hanging down and soap dish holder pulled out of the wall. The front desk did change our room… but was not very nice about it (not even an apology). Overall the hotel is beat up and showing it’s wear. Not your typical Marriott standard hotel.
