More Than A Drop

What a lovely hotel! The food is great and very fresh and safe to eat for foreigners. The free breakfast was exceptional - the mango jelly is so good. I highly recommend having them do your laundry. It's a bit slow but the price is very fair. I also did the cooking class for $35 and that was lovely and I definitely learned a lot. The room was clean and I did rent the large/two bed room so I had a bathroom to myself.

More Than A Drop (MTAD) is an oasis in Moshi. I stayed for about a week in February 2025. MTAD is located just outside of Moshi. Although I mostly just walked to town tuk tuks or motorcycle rides come by every minute or two. Ths staff are friendly and helpful. They accomodated any request including 5 AM breakfast. Milli arranged for transportation and advised on tours. The breakfast and dinners were delicious offering traditional local dishes as well as conventional favorites. Especially mango sorbet! Much is grown in the gardens. Everything is prepared in house, including fresh baked breads and cakes in the morning. The facility is spotlessly clean. I spent many hours relaxing in the shade on a setee or sipping cold lager on the patio. My time there will be remembered as a hilight of my trip.

Amazing food and place! The mango sorbet is reccomended. The service and atmosphere is great. I had the Indian Malai Kofta, my friend had yellow thai curry, we loved it. If we are ever in Moshi again, we will definitely return to this restaurant.

The perfect lodge if you want peace and quiet close to Moshi center. Beautiful gardens, stylish interior design of the guest rooms, high quality food and excellent service by kind and helpful staff. I stayed overnight on my way to the airport and will definitely stay again on my way back next week. I found it on TripAdvisor and it clearly exceeded my expectations.

What a lovely place, really nice garden to sit. We only came here for dinner but the food was amazing! Neema gives you a very warm welcome and waited for us because we were very late after climbing the Kilimanjaro. We highly recommend this place. Also a really nice bed and breakfast!

Our family of five - 2 adults, 2 teens and 1 tween had a delightful stay in this have of Tranquility in Moshi. Our highlight was cooking dinner with the chef and her team at 'More than a Drop', a hospitality school for girls in Moshi. It was so much fun. We sang, we laughed and we cooked. We now know how to make chapati and samosas. Thank to you the chef and her excellent team for their infinite patience and inspiration. We look forward to seeing your cookery book in print chef!
