Ulasan Hotel Laxnes

Experience was not very good from the very beginning checkin, waited almost 20 minutes in the bar for the service staff to come over as was helping other residents with problems in the room. The bread for breakfast the next day had mold on it.

Lovely clean and spacious room. Nice little kitchen area with microwave to heat food. Buffet breakfast was OK. Personally not to my taste, but that is only my opinion. The 16 year old with us loved the waffles with the choice of toppings! The porridge which I do enjoy was good day 1 but very watery day 2. Choice of bread that could be toasted, margarine (Sorry I am a butter fan!), preserves, ham, cheese,boiled eggs, tomatoes etc. Free coffee wasn't great - again I'm a coffee snob and like a good cup of filter coffee. I did notice there was coffee to buy. The room was great and the staff very helpful. We were able to park right outside our room. Good location for Reykjavik by car, Thingvellir National Park etc. We travelled from here to both and also to Snaefellsnes Peninsula, which was worth the drive. Also we visited Rekyholt, Barnafoss and Hraunfossar waterfalls, Deildartunguhver Thermal Spring - try the tomato soup!

Done the job well, good sleep, hot shower, cleaned and welcoming.

The hotel staffs were very welcoming and hospitality. We feel really good when we arrived at the hotel and even during departure. Breakfast spread was small but great. We had a warm and nice breakkie. The room is very cosy. The bed was very soft and springy! The blanket was just nice, very warm and comfortable. How we wish we could bring home. Haha. The price was also worthwhile. ✌🏻

The location of this accommodation is very convenient. There are supermarkets and large chain restaurants nearby. It's great that the car can be parked at the door of the room. The room is tidy and there is a kitchen for simple cooking.

I like the sloping roof very much, and it looks very beautiful, and there is a great bar!

We spent 1 night in the hotel. And so I would treat this hotel as a stopover during the journey. Quite noisy at night, the area rather unattractive. For me, the only plus was a well-equipped studio, you could make breakfast in the morning.

Great location and service, about 20 minutes from the city, parking space, microwave and refrigerator outside the room. Although the appearance looks a bit old, the bed is comfortable and big enough, and there are table coffee and tea bags.

The sanitary conditions and facilities here are indeed average, but it is absolutely fine to spend one night as a first stop on Ringroad. The lady boss will chat with you for a while. It is surrounded by supermarkets and gas stations, and there is a small waterfall not far away, which is very convenient.
