Hotel Bintang 4 Morioka Populer

A huge thank you to the reception staff who managed to swap our room quickly and without fuss. Hotel is well located and comfortable. Rooms are clean and the higher floors offer good city views.

The room is clean and tidy, next to the busiest shopping street and many restaurants. It's about 15 minutes away from the station, and you can also pass Kaiun Bridge along the way and overlook Mount Iwate in the distance.

The hotel is conveniently located near the JR station. One can access convenience stores, supermarkets for essentials. The hotel room is slightly bigger compared to other hotels in Japan. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Morioka.

Located near the train station. Good facilities including coin operated laundry. Nice complimentary amenities including bath salts in the lobby. There's a big convenience store on the hotel ground floor. Room is comfortable.

I booked it because it is the flattest one in Morioka. Sure enough, you get what you pay for. The bed is small and the TV is small. The bathroom is small and clean. The most interesting thing is the flush toilet. It is currently the most versatile toilet in Japanese hotels. Haha, you can play for an hour! The hotel is located at the west exit of the pedestrian bridge, which is about 5 minutes away. However, there is almost nothing to see in the hotel. If you want to eat, buy and visit attractions, you must go to the north exit.

The room is relatively small, but the bathroom is quite large with complete facilities and a bathtub. Very conveniently located right next to the station. As soon as you come out, look to your left and you will see Mount Iwate.

Can’t stop raving about this place ! Love it ! Best location!!! Just be careful with big bags as need to navigate the stairs ! Lawson is the same building is great! Worth it !!!

The hotel is still far from the train station and needs to take the bus (snail cycle car) for about 10 minutes. Stayed for 3 consecutive nights and changed a room every day. Although the front desk staff was very polite, it was really not convenient.

It was a ryokan with a very calming atmosphere. The landlady and staff greeted us cheerfully. When we passed each other in the hallway, they greeted us with a smile, which made us feel very comfortable and we were able to spend a wonderful time there. The interior and facilities in the room were a little old, but they didn't seem dirty or broken, and there was no noticeable smell. And above all, the hot spring was great. I think the hot spring is soft and feels good on the skin. The view was also great, so you could look at it forever. Personally, I was worried about the bugs (horses) in the open-air bath, which is like being in the middle of a forest, but I was relieved to see that there was insecticide available. We only had breakfast, but it was delicious, with dishes made from Iwate-grown hitomebore apples and wild vegetables. It's a place I'd like to visit again someday.

Thumbs up for the excellent service and very delicious food! The chef makes a mean steamed pork belly, amongst many other yummy dishes. Tempura is awesome too. Public baths arent that impressive, with outdoor onsen being v small and lukewarm at best. I felt it was a great pity that the beautiful view of the river from the windows of the dining room is being blocked by a bunch of clutter right next to the wall to wall glass window. It would've been so lovely to eat and look out at the river and mountains beyond, rather than see high chairs and screens and the tempura stand. In-room onsen was terrific....very large indoor bath and a smaller tub outdoors on the balcony. The onsen water can get very hot but u can take the temperature down with the cool water hose. The room is rather small but cosy. I'm not impressed by the bedding though. Futns are waty too thin, however the staff are very glad to add an extra futon atop when i requested for it. The location of the hotel is great, for me at least. There are a few fanily parks and nature trails nearby. The hotel has very beautifully crafted pieces of furniture at their coffee and drink bar for guests. Chairs by Fuji furniture so comfortable i wanna take them home! The lobby has some top notch cosy chairs and a buttery soft recliner, every piece a show of great Japanese craftmanshi! In all, this is just a very wonderful hotel annd I highly recommend it.
