Constance Moofushi

We just heading back from 12 days of holiday at the Constance Moofushi in the Maldives. The hotel,staff,amenities,food,beverage and last but not least the location are absolute top class. The hotel offers an all inclusive a lave holiday only and at first we were a bit hesitant as we wouldn’t normally choose this type of package. Although I must say, it turn out to be an excellent choice. The variety of food and beverage didn’t disappoint us with different theme every night. The hotel went through a renovation of the room and the new look is outstanding. As we were at the resort before we got an upgrade to a suite waterfront villa with a balcony and a lounge area. Fabulous. But what really made the experience outstanding has been the staff starting from the welcome team, moving to the waiters team, the fantastic service of the cleaning team, the excursion team and for last the coach at the gym JB. Being a gym fanatic I always choose a hotel with a decent gym facility as for me it is essential to stay on track with my training regime. The gym is well equipped and spacious with most of the machine and free weights you need. JB is a wonderful coach, helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. All in all I would recommend the resort and the island without hesitation. Fantastic place and most important great staff.

What can I say I have waited a very long time to travel to the Maldives so expectations were extremely high, and boy were they exceeded! We stayed over Christmas and new year and what an absolute pleasure the only down side was it just wasn’t long enough I could have stayed a month! From the wonderful staff to the most beautiful island and the amazing food we couldn’t have asked for anymore, I can’t wait to return We stayed in one of the beautiful senior water villas and grateful to have the opportunity to see such wonderful sealife from the deck, as well as a trip to see a pod of dolphins, we were lucky enough to be there for the New Year’s Eve gala dinner and all I can say is wow what an experience- what the staff were able to achieve was astonishing and the food was wonderful there wasn’t anything I would have changed during our trip. Lastly I want to thank the staff with particular mention to those that looked after us so well - you do make the difference so thank you to Sinaz, Nitin, Gopan and Maverick - we will be back I promise! This was our third visit to Moofushi, our first visit was outstanding but unfortunately due to illness our second visit was not what we were hoping for. I will add that on that visit the staff were very concerned about us and arranged for us to see the doctor and were very attentive. On this visit it was clear that they absolutely wanted to do everything in their power to make sure that this time it would be an amazing experience. It is absolutely the staff that make this resort. They arranged several experiences to make us feel extra special and it definitely did that. The F&B manager Luthi, went above and beyond and is an absolute asset to Moofushi. He even provided us with food that was off the menu, he listened to everything we said and made sure that we ate very well! I can’t sing his praises enough. Rashim (usually Totem/Alizee restaurant manager) was another stand out member of staff for us this year. He is such a nice, caring genuine person, he always had time for us and he made special milkshakes for our children which should be a permanent addition to their drinks menu as these were definitely their favourites. Manjoola, the executive assistant manager, was new to us this year but is definitely a great addition to the island, she is extremely personable. There are so many members of staff here that truly make Moofushi special - too many to list. On our previous visits we stayed in the senior water villas, which we love but this year we decided to try the sand villas. I think we now prefer the sand villas as you get the best of both worlds. They are basically oceanfront beach villas, step down to powdery sand and a few steps straight in to the turquoise ocean - heaven. I would recommend the heart of house tour, the lagoon lunch, cinefushi and the sandbank magic trip. I would also highly recommend the Aperol Puki Puki cocktail which Luthi kindly provided me with the recipe so that I can recreate it at home. There are just too many things for me to say to sing the praises of Moofushi. It’s a beautiful island, that feels Maldivian, with outstanding staff. This is why they have so many repeat guests including ourselves. See you next year!

We chose this resort to spend our 35th wedding anniversary at - and boy did we make the right decision. Everything about this place is brilliant - from the moment you arrive at Male to the moment you depart. We were greeted at the airport, helped to check in with the sea plane, given access to the resort’s lounge at the sea plane terminal while we waited, met at the resort by our own host, Gina (who after checking us in gave us a personal tour of the resort) and made to feel so welcome by everyone we met. The room was sensational, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you needed. The food in the main restaurant was consistently outstanding as was the food in the more casual Totem bar. We also had 2 meals at the a la carte Alize restaurant which were very good. It is such a magical place, somewhere to completely unwind and leave behind the demands of every day living

Dear Manjoola, Mevin and Moofushi Team, We just returned from our third dream vacation on Moofushi. Arrival at Male, transfer to Lounge and TMA service to our dream island was smooth as silk and fast. Welcomed by warm and familiar smiles on the arrival jetty, we knew we arrived home again. We stayed at a senior water villa, 72, and it was brilliant, daily taken best care of by Imaz, thank you so.much. Food at Manta has, in our view, further improved and it was gorgeous. We have been taken so well care of by the team, Yogi, thanks for your always perfect food preparation and the friendly welcome each day. Najaa, Nizz and Shamuu, your outstanding, friendly and funny style at each service on our beloved deck was a daily highlight. Nithin, thank you for your perfect recommendations for accompanying wines, your humor and professionalism was the icing on the cake. Gopan, we miss your laughter already, and Priyanthu, thank you so much for always going the extra mile and preparing Mangostines. Stella, thank you for the warm welcome and Sole, so good to have seen you again. Anna and Debora from the SPA, your healing hands are magic, for sure the best massages we ever had. JB, I.miss your early morning gym smile, and equally at Bluetribe, amazing people like Mauro and Ahmed and dive instructors Gaya, Stefano, Manuel and Shottie. Last but not least, Manjoola and Mevin it's amazing how you.manage the team and this unique resort. It's all about the right people that make one feel part of a family and home. 5 stars are still not enough, one needs to experience Moofushi to understand what this jewel is all about. Just got home from our 4th trip to Moofushi and it was just as wonderful and relaxing as ever. There may be posher resorts, there may be resorts with more restaurants or rooms with plunge pools, or more entertainment in the evenings, etc but I, don't believe there is anywhere where the staff and team try as hard to make your stay as special as they do at Moofushi. It really is a very special place. The food is magnificent, our room (senior water villa 75) spotless with a fantastic sunset view, the house reef(s) are teeming with wildlife, the island is as beautiful as the photos, but probaly best of all, the welcome feels absolutely sincere. My wife and I have been lucky enough to visit some very exotic locations around the world and experienced some of the very best resorts but, nowhere else do we relax how we can at Moofushi and nowhere draws us back again and again how Moofushi does. I believe whilst we there, 42% of guests were "returnees"! That speaks for itself. See you next year.
