Constance Moofushi

We stayed at Constance Moofushi from June 11 to 18 for our honeymoon and it was simply perfect. The staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful, always calling us by name and doing their best to enhance our stay. We split our time between a Beach Villa and a Senior Water Villa. Both were amazing, but the Water Villa experience was unforgettable, the ocean’s blue shades were breathtaking, and the warm, crystal-clear water made it hard to leave. We did snorkeling with the Blue Ocean Diving Center and it was a highlight. We also visited the local island Himandhoo, where many of the resort staff live, which gave us a deeper understanding of the local culture. Evenings at the Manta Bar were fun and lively, we danced Maldivian dances with the staff. The food was delicious with lots of variety, and we enjoyed the complimentary activities about reef and ocean life. With only 50% occupancy, out of 240 guests, it felt exclusive and peaceful, perfect for a honeymoon, but also ideal for a quiet family getaway. We’re Ana and David from Portugal, and we’ll treasure this trip forever. Thank you, Moofushi team!

Just returned from another wonderful stay at Constance Moofushi, our favourite place in the Maldives. We fell in love with the resort on our first visit some years back and this, our third, was better that ever. We have been to other resorts but, for us, Moofushi is the best. We just love the barefoot, laid back, relaxing experience the resort offers. This, together with the welcoming, helpful and friendly staff, the amazing food and the vibrant Moofushi reef, provides us with the perfect maldives holiday. Mervin the resort manager and Luthi his executive assistant manager are always visible and ensuring you have everything you need. All of the staff we met were excellent and remembered our names. They go out of their way to welcome and assist you. A special mention during this vist to, Gopan and his team at the bar, Sha and Binju who always greeted us at the bar and manta restaurant with her most welcoming smiles and attentive service. Yaabe always there for us at breakfast. Maeva and Nitan who served us with perfectly selected wines for our dinner. Priyantha who maded us the most wonderful Crème Brûlée. Vinita, the marina biologist, for her informative marine life presentations and of course JB at the gym for great workouts and guidance on stretching. Finally to Luthi my Moofushi running partner. Mervin has a great team, we can’t wait to see everyone again next year.

We’ve just returned from our second stay at Constance Moofushi – and once again, it was everything we dreamed of and more. This place truly is a slice of paradise: crystal-clear water, soft sandy beaches, and an amazing house reef perfect for snorkeling every single day. What sets Moofushi apart is not just the stunning natural beauty, but the incredible people who make it come alive. Every team member we met was warm, genuine, and passionate about their work – you feel cared for in the most natural and effortless way. It’s luxury without the pressure, relaxed but thoughtful in every detail. The atmosphere is beautifully calm and friendly – barefoot luxury at its best. The villas are gorgeous, the food is delicious, and the bars offer everything from flair shows to quiet sundowner moments. The spa is a dream. We also loved the resort’s strong focus on sustainability and environmental awareness – from the way nature is respected to the thoughtful use of resources. It’s clear that protecting the beauty of the island is just as important as enjoying it. We left with full hearts, unforgettable memories, and the firm wish to return again. Thank you, Moofushi – you’ve truly created something special.

This was our fourth visit to Moofushi and we plan to be there again at the end of February 2026. We like the accommodation, especially the senior water villas - perhaps that’s because we’re seniors. The main restaurant is buffet service with a wide range of choices including wonderful grilled tuna and other fresh fish. There’s a small fully served speciality restaurant too. Swimming in the warm clear sea round the island is fun and a snorkel mask reveals a wide range of fish including non-dangerous reef sharks. The pool is small but good for cooling off. The bars are well-stocked. The trees and other vegetation is brilliantly maintained. My wife loved the spa. A key attraction is the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. On the negative side, it’s showing its age - everything feels lived in but we don’t mind that and the catamaran needs replacing but these are minor drawbacks and we’re looking forward to our next visit.

Wow… we were recommended this resort and it did not disappoint. From the second we landed at Male to the second we checked our bags on the return the excellent Constance staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Food is excellent, especially if you love fresh fish and the bar service was great too. An absolute paradise resort. No shoes for a week just soft sand and warm gin clear water. Excellent snorkelling. Wife loved the spa. This trip was for a special birthday. It made it so memorable that we will be coming back in 2027 for our 30th wedding anniversary.
