We LOVED this hotel. Boutique chique. Walking distance from so many good experiences. Wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful!

While the room was stylish and had a modern vibe, there were some issues with cleanliness. I noticed stains on the bench, dust on the nightstands, and even a stray hair on one of the towels. These small details were disappointing and gave the impression that attention to upkeep might be slipping. Overall, it’s a nice hotel in a great location, but it could benefit from renovations and a little more care in maintenance to truly live up to its potential.

If it wasnt fhe location, I wouldnt go. Its very cheap. Approximative design done poorly. And dirty bathroom, stained carpet and furniture look like second hand. Value of a cheap motel

Clean hotel but coffee machine didn’t work. Shower was not good. Overall, I recommend 🙂

Overall was a good stay and staff was nice and helpful. Nothing overly good or bad but a standard room in a decent location. Closer to Chinatown and downtown but walkable to most parts of the city or a close uber.

We stayed at Hotel Zero 1 for the Just For Laughs Festival originally for 4 nights which turned into 5 when our flight was canceled. The hotel is located perfectly whether you are going shopping along St Catherine's, doing the JFL Festival or hitting the Old Port water front. All is in close walking distance. The hotel is very clean and seems to be recently renovated. We stayed in a loft room #1113. Everything is good however the shower could be a bit larger (felt like we were in Europe) with more water pressure. Contrary to other reviews there is no issue with hot water. The only negative I would say is the bed, it is supposed to be a queen (although the room is large and can accommodate a king bed) but it is smaller than a traditional 'north American' queen size bed. Feels more like a double which is more in line with a euro queen. The bed was not very comfortable but after the 4th night sleep we were finally getting used to it. The housekeeping and front desk staff are very nice. We will consider staying here again upon our next visit to Montreal mainly based on its location to everything .

The hotel is in the prime location, easily accessible by bus or train.

I get why this is a 3-star hotel and not a 4-star one. It’s fine for the most part, but the cleanliness and the attention to detail are just not there. The hallways are super dark. The room was modern and brutalist aesthetic. The bathroom was small but well designed. But the carpet and the bedroom bench had gross stains on them. Some of the fake wood furniture were obviously chipped. The leather on one chair looked discoloured. I expect beautifully architectured hotels at the core of the city to do better than this. The lounge is only open for dinner and it’s almost deserted. Fortunately, there is a convenience store accessible from inside the hotel, but I expected room service. A+ to the staff though. They were very polite and helpful.

The room was ok, the curtains were all stained orange as well as the walls and bed base, the bathroom was moderately clean. We also had a problem with the valet refund, the boy at the reception told us that the refund was done when it wasn't at all and the next day we went back to the reception to ask why the money had not been deposited and they said that the refund was only done by specimen check, so if we had not returned to the reception we would never have had the refund which by the way has still not returned to my account so moderately satisfied with our stay

The location of the hotel is very good, just opposite the Chinatown Archway, a few hundred meters walk to the subway station, and about a 15-minute walk to McGill University. Bus No. 747 to and from the airport has a stop in front of the hotel. The hotel staff are very nice. Although the hotel faces the street, the sound insulation is very good and there is no noise at night.

It was a terrible experience. Checked in at 10:00 p.m., the front desk did not turn on the headlights, and the lobby was dark and scary. The cleanliness of the room is very poor, there are small black particles and hair on the bed, the bedding is very poor, the mattress is already uneven, and there is just a shower head next to the bed. There are yellow marks on the corners of the sink, and the shower room is very narrow, and it is impossible to turn around even if you are fat. After washing my hair, I used the hair dryer and found that it was broken. The button of the hair dryer was full of dust. Then I called the front desk with the phone in the room and found that the phone was also broken. I didn’t know that it was covered with dust even if I didn’t pick up the microphone. I went downstairs to the front desk to change the hair dryer. , The front desk found one in the cabinet. We were worried about letting her try it, but it turned out to be broken, because she was the only one in the whole hotel, and she gave a room key card that hadn't been cleaned up. We went up to find it ourselves. Because the hotel lights are very dark, there is only one side of the elevator, the decoration is rough, and the overall feeling is very unsafe. We went up to check the sign on the corridor and found that there was no room number, so we came down immediately. The front desk said it was the room card of the other side of the hotel, let us go On the other side of the elevator, we went to the other side to find it. The attitude of the front desk is good, always saying sorry, but it caused the guests to run up and down in fear in the middle of the night. No matter the sanitation, supporting facilities, services, etc. are completely inconsistent with the price of this hotel. The pictures on the hotel use wide-angle and filters, which deceive guests into booking rooms, and the goods are not right. This hotel is like a youth hostel. You can live in a three-star hotel at the same price. I am careless.
