Gorgeous Hotel right in the centre of everything. Had a wonderful 2 nights staff couldn’t be more helpful and pleasant for us kiwis 😊 Relaxing large suite with everything we needed .. walking from the hotel into the heart of the township made exploring very easy

We stayed three nights in a superior room overlooking the park canorgue and street ( rue st Pierre) The room was well appointed and comfortable, as one would expect from this category of hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially upon arrival. We loved our exceptional tasting dinner at Jardin des Sens, the tapas and well made cocktails in the bar, and their very delicious buffet breakfast one morning. A couple of sour notes we experienced though- Unfortunately our room air conditioner did not ever work properly during our stay, and we were awakened by loud boombox partying in the square directly below our room in the middle of the night, two of the three nights we were there. This was probably just our bad luck and timing, but it’s definitely not what we expected during the most expensive stay of our 17 day vacation in the region. Overall however, the hotel is quite beautiful and nicely situated on the place Camargue, a charming small park with a unicorn fountain and a few cafes. Although we needed a taxi from and to the train station with luggage , we easily walked there from the hotel and back on the day we day tripped over to the seafront town of Sète. I appreciated the higher hill location, away from the busier Place de la comedie, but very close to the gardens, arc and the breezy hilltop plaza , place royale du Peyrou. I especially loved exploring the neighborhood from the cathedral over to the Fabre museum. Montpellier is a beautiful historic city to wander through and enjoy.

Wonderful historic place with outstanding cuisine, full of art and beauty and love to the detail. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

This gorgeous and very historic hotel is extremely luxe, chic and elegant and faces a gorgeous picturesque square in the centre of Montpellier., with beautiful walks nearby. We had some issues with the service which was at times less than expected of a luxury hotel, but these were acknowledged and addressed. Breakfast was in a beautiful room but the offering was not very special. The hotel is also an easy walk from the main station, which can be faster than getting a taxi. Despite there being room for improvement, this hotel comes highly recommended. Splurge on a balcony room if you can!
