We stayed here for two nights this past weekend. I was really looking forward to enjoying the balcony in the room and didn’t mind the higher price because of the outside space that the was included in the suite. Unfortunately, upon arrival we found the sliding doors were broken so we could not use the patio. Every time we asked about having them fixed we were told a variety of things: someone was on their way to fix it or they couldn’t get the part since it was the weekend. Finally at the near end of our stay when we realized they couldn’t fix it, I was told to speak to the manager, Claudia, when I requested a credit. The next morning she told me that she could not authorize a credit but that she would have the owner contact me. It has now been almost four days since we departed and not a word from the owner. I understand that it was the weekend and acquiring the part was out of their control, but they should have upgraded us to a better room or offered us some type of credit. The room was $250 per night and the highlight was definitely the patio area, which we were not able to enjoy.
Other than the room, we found the breakfast to be lovely and everything was very clean.
