Honest review - checked in fine, things look nice. Get to our room, turn on AC and head to dinner to let it cool off. Set to 19C, fan high, it’s running, no reason to worry right? Upon our return at 10:30, the room is just as hot and humid and there is an error code on the AC. Restarted it then went to the front desk to tell staff. Upon telling staff we had run the AC, it was still hot and there was an error code when we returned from dinner, the staff immediately jumped down our throats explaining “we don’t change the AC!!!” Not once did we say they did or even ask if they did, we just wanted them to know about the mechanical issue. Their central system said our room was 26C. Incredibly defensive and hostile, clearly this is something they are sensitive about. Left a horrible impression, and when we said we weren’t accusing them of anything we just wanted to make sure the AC worked, they reminded us this is only a 3 star hotel and maybe not what we’re used to. Would’ve taken my money and ran if it wasn’t my honeymoon.
