For the Butler room it was beyond expectations, small, a/c on its last leg, no ventaliation in bathroom caused heat and humidity. We have been to many other Sandals with a butler experience and this by far was the worst. We will not be staying here again.

Man we love Sandals Montego Bay for the people and the service. Just spent a week in June 17th 2025. Let me tell you the staff there will do anything to make your stay great. Huge shout outs to the housekeeping manager who got me a mattress topper installed to make my bed more comfortable. We always get a butler room to help us with getting to dinner and providing us with lunch on the beach. Also huge thanks to Jerome and Granville our butler team for setting up a cabana each day and providing us a cooler for drinks. The latitudes waitress Aneshia was so attentive to making sure we had cocktails on the half hour. I could not be more impressed with our housekeeper Candice who made our room perfect everyday and the attention to detail by leaving a note thanking us for staying was just a classy touch. The entire staff always wanted to make your vacation worth it. Some people say sandals is expensive I say it’s worth every penny. We met a couple at the airport who did not stay at an all inclusive like sandals and they spent just as much paying for drinks and food. I was literally right on the beach and it is amazing. Our travel agent Jen from Knit Your Average Events is in the know for all things sandals. She has stayed at every resort and knows the rooms to pick and the best views. When you have a travel agent who cares more about her clients than anything they work with the resort to make things perfect. We celebrated our anniversary there last week and the staff, butlers and our agent made it perfect. If you are on the fence about sandals then don’t go to Montego Bay because you will be hooked for life. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our third stay at this property. They make it feel like home away from home.

The entertainment staff was fantastic! We loved Geo, “Super Mario”, Darrel, Christopher, and Caloney was the best bartender! Also, Jordan on the saxophone was amazing! We had a great time playing beach volleyball with the staff too! Everyone was wonderful and our view was beautiful!

My husband and I came to this location for our anniversary. We like Sandals and have been at different locations and to Jamaica before. This was our first time at Montego Bay. We arrived for reunion week for returning guest. The staff were great as always. Very helpful and courteous. This Montego Bay location being the original sandals I was surprised the entertainment was pretty much non existent. I didn’t hear reggae music playing throughout the day. No Bob Marley music at all. How could that happen? I heard American music that I could hear anytime. We come to Jamaica to feel and see the culture. We would like to have had Reggae and cultural entertainment. Several guest we spoke with agreed and were disappointed. They took out their own playlist and speakers. It felt like I was at a resort in Florida. I heard that Montego Bay was an entertaining resort but it was the opposite. It was quite but relaxing. Something felt off. A few menu items were out of stock in two of the restaurants. Butches was highly recommended but the steak was not up to expectations. We are returning to sandals but will go to another location. I did enjoy the Red Line Spa. They were great! The resort and rooms were clean.

We are diamond members of this brand and the quality and service has dropped way off. The customer service has dramatically went down in the last 5 years. We didn’t get the room we paid for and they said they upgraded us but the entire point was to get the room for the view and accessibility. Instead we are on the upstairs part and can’t see the beach at all. Speaking of the beach. Right now I’m looking at a bulldozer scraping seaweed off of it instead of the awesome view that I am supposed to Be seeing. Overall just a huge let down. May be our last trip to sandals for a while.

Just home from a great 10 day stay at Sandals, Montego Bay. Food was wonderful especially Butches and Bayside. Every member of staff was happy, friendly and helpful. Big shout out to the Entertainment Team who work so hard Interacting with everyone. Shania is a credit to your team, she is so friendly, polite, lovely to chat too, always smiling mingling with everyone and has a fantastic personality. Wishing you lots of luck for the future Shania you have so much going for you. Leroy from swim up pool bar and beach bar and a lovely lady from bar next to Dinos were LOVELY JUBBLY always going out their way to chat and laugh with us. The diddles are back from 9 nights in mobay. Wow, one of the best resorts we have visited. Food is very good and the staff are excellent. We stayed in a millionaire butler suite at the end of the resort. The roo. It is a few steps from the beach and amazing. Our butlers were great and sorted out a shady spot for us with a cooler, brought us snacks and generally just looked after us. Amazing drinks and food. Went to butch's twice at night as it was that good. The resort was spotless and the staff do a great job of keeping it thst way. We were a little worried about the plane noise but it did not bother us at all. We went to royal caribbean one night and thought the noise was more intrusive there Final.shout out to sean and the entertainment team. The energy those guys bring is off the charts. We'll see you again mobay. Peace and love

We had an amazing first experience with Sandals Montego Bay! Best entertainment staff! Davia aka Daphne is a beautiful soul! She went above and beyond for us! We loved to listen to her sing and dance and cheer the crowd on! Also, want to give Rinaldo at Butch’s a shout out! He made our dining experience hilarious and so enjoyable! Lastly, Ramone and his singing is amazing! Broadway night was a fav! We are sticking with Sandals from now on! Thank for you all for a great 10 year anniversary trip!
