Dos días increíbles de relajación.
Poder salir a la playa por la piscina y tener un paseo tan largo de madera sobre la arena, sin tener que bajar a la arena , tomar un café o comer en cualquiera de los chiringuitos es un lujazo. Ambiente relajado para estar con la familia y comodidad para los más mayores en los paseos.
Piscina interior atendida por dos señoritas super amables y educadas. La recepción de 10 para atender nuestro error de no solicitar la cuna y resolverlo.
Contentísimos.
No sé cómo se estará en verano, pero es nuestra escapada del favorita del trabajo en Badajoz.

Stayed at Dunamar Hotel-Apartmentos for 7 nights and was very impressed with the accommodation. Apartments was very spacious with great facilities for self catering. We had a side sea view apartment and still had great views of the ocean, it was an East facing view so we got the sun in the morning on our balcony. All the staff from the reception to the cleaning staff were all very friendly. The location is very good for people wanting a beach holiday and the beach is excellent, one of the best I've ever been on. Monte Gordo is ideal for people wanting a quite holiday as it isn't a partying place though there's plenty of bars and restaurants. Neighbouring Vila Real de Santo Antonia is only about a mile away and to get there you have the choice of walking along the beach, turn left on beach from hotel, or you can walk along the road, turning right when coming out of main entrance or you can walk through the Pine Forest, there's a selection of different paths/routes you can take. Vila Real is a lovely place with lots of restaurants and a few bars, you can also take a boat from the marina across the river to Spain, boat takes about 15 minutes and fare is 2.50 euro each way per person and the boats depart every 30 minutes. Ayemonte is the town on other side of river.

Loverly hotel was self catering in disabled room but bathroom was not upto what we classed as a disabled room not bars on both sides of toilet and shower was too small had seat inside and one bar but this was half in shower and half outside so when had shower water went over floor.only used restaurant once hot food was cold so need to look into this

The hotel is probably great in the summer but definitely not a winter destination. Especially over Xmas. Room was great. Downside no English channels on TV. Probably wouldn’t need in the summer. Found hotel to be very corporate and not at all homely. Didn’t find staff very friendly. Bar in evenings was empty with nothing planned over Xmas. Before booking I checked that there were transport links to hotel as not able to walk long distances. Was told bus stops outside hotel. There were but buses don’t run there in the winter. So not much to walk to. On 2nd day I contacted Jet2 to move to another hotel. Took them 2 days to do it and charged me £340. Am still trying to get some back. Moved to a hotel in Tavira and had a lovely stay. Lovely little town with plenty of places to walk.

Had 5 nights here over Christmas and had not been to this hotel before. The rooms were really spacious. A great size dining kitchen and lounge area with a separate bedroom. Ample wardrobe space but hangers were difficult to move on the rails. The kitchen was really well equipped and you have to leave a €50 deposit on arrival which I knew about from other reviews. The breakfast buffet has a great selection and probably better than other hotels I’ve stayed at on the Algarve. The atmosphere is quiet and considering the hotel was full I didn’t actually see a huge amount of people around. There is a happy hour in the bar is good value and there is a big screen on there playing sports matches too. Room cleaned every day even Christmas Day, I put do not disturb on to save her cleaning but she still came in a cleaned ! Overall a really great stay.

As soon as you enter you are made to feel welcome. Clean rooms, great views, there is equipment for self catering if you want to use it, but why cook on holiday. We had fantastic Christmas dinner, and breakfast you can not complain about. Will definitely be back.

I booked this last minute and it wasn't my first choice. However I'm glad I stayed here. The hotel was lovely..The staff were very friendly..in particular the restaurant staff. The hotel backs into the beach which was the prettiest beach I've ever been to. The rooms were spacious. The buffet breakfast was stereotypical with plenty of choice. The cocktails were a good price for a hotel. 7 euros. You can go to the gym or fitness classes but you have to pay as it's a private health club... 5 Euros. I also booked in for a massage which was amazing. I'd stay here again. Downside ...the mattress was hard so I found it hard to sleep and the pool was absolutely Baltic. The sea was warmer to swim in.

Excellent hotel, all areas very, very clean. We had a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious. We were only bed & breakfast, which was nice and plenty to choose from. Hotel is very well run with helpful and friendly staff. No one allowed to reserve beds with towels from early in the morning, and it worked really well, getting a sun bed was never an issue. Really close to all amenities. Would return here in a minute.

Great hotel close to beach and very clean pool area and rooms cleaned daily. Pool snack bar , overpriced waited ages and food cold , even when not busy. Sun beds , you need to be up early to get one as by 9.30 all gone . Pool bar staff not overly friendly and looked miserable. The hotel itself is large and impersonal but this may suit you but the rooms were great clean and comfortable
