Loverly hotel was self catering in disabled room but bathroom was not upto what we classed as a disabled room not bars on both sides of toilet and shower was too small had seat inside and one bar but this was half in shower and half outside so when had shower water went over floor.only used restaurant once hot food was cold so need to look into this

The hotel is probably great in the summer but definitely not a winter destination. Especially over Xmas. Room was great. Downside no English channels on TV. Probably wouldn’t need in the summer. Found hotel to be very corporate and not at all homely. Didn’t find staff very friendly. Bar in evenings was empty with nothing planned over Xmas. Before booking I checked that there were transport links to hotel as not able to walk long distances. Was told bus stops outside hotel. There were but buses don’t run there in the winter. So not much to walk to. On 2nd day I contacted Jet2 to move to another hotel. Took them 2 days to do it and charged me £340. Am still trying to get some back. Moved to a hotel in Tavira and had a lovely stay. Lovely little town with plenty of places to walk.

Had 5 nights here over Christmas and had not been to this hotel before. The rooms were really spacious. A great size dining kitchen and lounge area with a separate bedroom. Ample wardrobe space but hangers were difficult to move on the rails. The kitchen was really well equipped and you have to leave a €50 deposit on arrival which I knew about from other reviews. The breakfast buffet has a great selection and probably better than other hotels I’ve stayed at on the Algarve. The atmosphere is quiet and considering the hotel was full I didn’t actually see a huge amount of people around. There is a happy hour in the bar is good value and there is a big screen on there playing sports matches too. Room cleaned every day even Christmas Day, I put do not disturb on to save her cleaning but she still came in a cleaned ! Overall a really great stay.

As soon as you enter you are made to feel welcome. Clean rooms, great views, there is equipment for self catering if you want to use it, but why cook on holiday. We had fantastic Christmas dinner, and breakfast you can not complain about. Will definitely be back.

I booked this last minute and it wasn't my first choice. However I'm glad I stayed here. The hotel was lovely..The staff were very friendly..in particular the restaurant staff. The hotel backs into the beach which was the prettiest beach I've ever been to. The rooms were spacious. The buffet breakfast was stereotypical with plenty of choice. The cocktails were a good price for a hotel. 7 euros. You can go to the gym or fitness classes but you have to pay as it's a private health club... 5 Euros. I also booked in for a massage which was amazing. I'd stay here again. Downside ...the mattress was hard so I found it hard to sleep and the pool was absolutely Baltic. The sea was warmer to swim in.

Excellent hotel, all areas very, very clean. We had a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious. We were only bed & breakfast, which was nice and plenty to choose from. Hotel is very well run with helpful and friendly staff. No one allowed to reserve beds with towels from early in the morning, and it worked really well, getting a sun bed was never an issue. Really close to all amenities. Would return here in a minute.

Great hotel close to beach and very clean pool area and rooms cleaned daily. Pool snack bar , overpriced waited ages and food cold , even when not busy. Sun beds , you need to be up early to get one as by 9.30 all gone . Pool bar staff not overly friendly and looked miserable. The hotel itself is large and impersonal but this may suit you but the rooms were great clean and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay here. We didn't use the restaurant facilities but walked the short walk each evening to the local restaurants where this is plenty of choice. The irish bar is worth a visit too for karaoke and live music. The hotel is friendly and incredibly clean. We had a side view room which over looked a small market, we weren't sure at first as wasn't very private. However the sun set over this side so meant we could sit on the balcony early evening and catch the last of the sun which was lovely. The beach is absolutely beautiful and only a few minutes walk. We spent most of our time here as it was such a family friendly beach. Its one of the moat beautiful beaches we have visited. The food at the poolside bar was delicious and really friendly service too. We will be returning :)

A good size well equipped apartment in a good position at the end of the resort next to a nice park and beach, a short walk to the usual small shops and restaurants a longer walk or short bus trip to a lovely small town. Best room cleaners anywhere , everything spotless. Mostly very friendly staff who speak excellent English which was much appreciated. Sun beds well spaced out but not enough. Could have some more maybe on part of the empty terrace area but there are lots on the beach for a charge. Could do with something to dry towels on the balcony . This hotel is unfortunately let down by the temperature of the food and not having a microwave . The food was only just warm didn’t find actually hot the whole week, I did raise it with a member of staff and ask if they could microwave something for me but they were not willing to help. Salad and desserts were nice but repetitive when the only choice for a full week. Please please get a microwave such an easy solution to allow customers the choice of heating the food to their liking. Most other hotels I have been in have this option. I loved the area, the staff and the apartment. I would really want to come back and recommend this hotel to others , but unless the food temperature issue is resolved, sadly I will be finding a different hotel.
