Fairfield Inn & Suites Butte

Great hotel, loved there breakfast options they were impressively good. Mattresses were a little firm for my liking but not uncomfortable.

I checked in and was told that the king room i reserved was not available, that i had been switched to a queen room. I was not happy with this as i had booked the king room at least 2 weeks prior to our stay. She said she could possibly move some things around and did find us a king room.There was an odor in the room when we checked in, that was smelled like a mixture of body odor and cologne. It was very overpowering. The hot tub was not working. The sounds of doors opening and closing at night was more than i had hoped for and the noise the next morning was also not great. Needless to say, i did not sleep well even with my noise machine running through the night.

Easy check-in. very friendly staff. stayed for 5 nights and had no problems. My room was across from the elevator and I only heard occassional noise. Overall quiet, clean, and convenient.

All of the front desk staff, minus one, were very friendly and professional. Up to date room. I had a nice conversation with a helpful housekeeper.

Clean, modern, nice rooms, nice people

I was mostly satisfied. I only spent one night there. Upon arrival, check in was easy and staff was pleasant. When I got to my room, it was right in front of the elevators and right by the ice maker, so those made my stay quite noisy, unfortunately. The room smelled like dirty feet, or like wet musty carpet..that’s the best way I can explain it. I noticed that some of the towels in the bathroom were not clean. The hand towel hanging next to the bathroom sink was dirty and had brown crusty markings on it. There is a sign in the bathroom that states to be eco friendly if towels are unused, to leave them hanging. I suppose if you wipe your hands or face or anything but leave it hanging it stays in the room. It does say you can call to request new towels. It just seems unclean to leave towels in a used room regardless if they had been used or not. My only other complaint is that the curtains don’t close all the way. There is a set of sheer curtains that goes across the entirety of the window but it’s completely see through. I had to use my hair clip to clip the thicker curtain together to have privacy and to help with light coming in. If I needed a room in Butte again I would probably try somewhere else considering the price.
