Bokmakierie has so much potential, it is located in the most beautiful place. Koro Creek is well kept and the people at the gate are friendly. BUT At Bokmakierie there is a lot of things that are broken and need attention: 1. We booked for four nights but the room was only serviced the first day. 2. The pillows, bedding and towels are old and towels had stains on. 3. The steps to the swimming pool are broken and taped off (I see it was broken already in January this year on a previous review) 4. No reserve toilet paper available, only after asking. 5. Lots of mouse/rat droppings in scullery on floor and on counter. This is very sad, I can see it was once a beautiful place and hope that it will be restore again to the beautiful place it can be.

This guest house is run down, dirty and no maintenance. No value for money. We will not recommend it at all.

We paid a lot of money just to find that the house is in dire need of maintenance. 1. Too little glassware for all to use 2. Steps going down to swimming pool were loose which after the rain resulted in my sister slipping and falling really bad and had to receive stiches in her elbow. 3. One bedroom aircon not working properly. 4. Front steps of house were taped off because of broken steps. 5. Main bedroom toilet broken and could not be used. 6. Roof leaking at a massive rate while raining. 7. Broken glass found in swimming pool, could have resulted in a major injury!! 8. Sliding door going out to patio not able to open up. 9. No swimming pool cover for 2 year old child. The house overall is not bad but needs urgent attention!

The place needs some energetic owner to take care of the guests, otherwise it is a nice quiet place with all the basics, But there is no service for guests, not even wifi! No electricity backup, not even lamps nor candles. No message or advice on what to do when there is loadshedding I would book the place again because I would be knowing what to expect.

No toilet paper in the bathroom and no body lotion. I typically expect these items to be the basic minimum available. I sent a WhatsApp message to the host around 7pm notifying her of this, but I got the sense that she's not available after 18:30, so had to wait until the following morning when toilet paper was placed outside my door. Not going back there anytime soon.

Had a very pleasant stay at the self catering bokmakierie place. Rooms were clean and very spacious. Situated in a golf estate with some wildlife roaming the property. We were treated well and able to come and go as required

Stayed at Bokmakierie Place on the Koro Golf Estate in Modimolle. I am not a golfer so I was happy that this lovely place was away from the golf course itself. Lovely and quiet in beautiful bush. Lovely place to just relax. Loved the zebra, nyala and impala coming to visit.
