Avila's Hostel Moalboal

The hotel is very far from the beach. Also, we booked a regular room, but theythey put us in a separate small wooden house that had a snake in it. Afterwards we moved in a normal room

It was just okay. I only spent one night. The bed was comfortable.

So nice, the staff were so nice too!

The good is that it was very clean and more accessible by car than many of the hotels in town. The bad is that there was no hot water because the outlet for the water heater shower was broken. They also had a menu of things you could buy but then they were out of most things. I spoke to another guest and they had the same complaints. We are also used to blankets with the bed, but only a sheet was provided.

Not recommended, I was thankful of the manager mariz she's so accommodating when i book a wrong date in third party manage to get back my refund and book but disappointed of how the reception staff treated us my family i paid for the rooms not a small money but watching us every movement and did not welcome when we arrived in the hostel and overcharge did not expect will be charge by using they're cooking stove lol was charge 250 by cooking 3 times only, any way this hostel not recommended or pls change or staff thanks or tell her to be more friendly and nice my family dont deserve that, and nipa room i dont think for that price a day with shower not working so well little drop of water come out and hot shower not working and the stone u steps got smelly sorry for my opinion, thanks

Facilities were quite dirty; staff & service was nice. Ok for the price

The place was easy to find. Pool was great and the staff were so friendly. My family enjoyed our stay and was able to extend another day without hassle. Will recommend the place. Will book again if we visit cebu.

Very nice room! The bathroom was okay, but could have wished for a little better shower. The staff were so nice and helpful!
