非常滿意的酒店。從加拉帕戈斯回基多，在到這裏休整簡直是太幸福了。明多這是個世界級的雲霧雨林，拍鳥聖地。所以選住他家，網上評價名副其實。乾淨整潔，設施齊全，環境優美。坐在陽台上就可以隨以拍鳥。我們選擇在他家吃晚飯，二個小姑娘烹飪技術不錯，且價格合理。Angel帥哥主動熱情幫我們扛行李到樓上房間，給我們介紹拍鳥的專業師非常給力。我們拍到的冠傘鳥和大巨嘴鳥。還有兀鷹。非常幸運。

Las Terrazas is exactly what you want for an adventure in the Mindo Cloud Forest. We arrived in Quito in the evening and went directly to Mindo. They can arrange a driver. In a dark drizzling night we were met at Las Terrazas and led to #10 which was a good walk up paths and stairs. The large suite has huge floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors. In the morning, we awoke in the tree tops with a cloud perfectly positions against the nearby mountain. Breakfast was included (delishes and robust) and the coffee was excellent. The dining area is open and overlooking the beautiful pool with nature and the song of birds surrounding you. We had our own guide but they can arrange it for you as well. From there we were driven to hike to the gondola over the ravine, waterfalls, bird-watching (and caught sightings of a couple of elusive Toucans), butterfly preserve and stopped at a lodge for hummingbird viewing (and confirmed we were glad we stayed where we did). This is an excellent place to be for a couple of nights before or after heading into Quito and the Galapagos. The rooms have a very comfortable bed, walk-in shower, two person jacuzzi tub that looks out the window. Seating and a table both in the room and on the balcony for viewing. Butterflies are abundant in the gardens and of course, the magical bird of Mindo are everywhere.

The accommodations were ideal. The staff were all warm and welcoming. David and Marco gave excellent recommendations for activities. Our room was spacious and airy. We were able to see at least 20 species of birds from our balcony. The pool was refreshing and sparkling. The gardens are gorgeous. We had a wonderful time.

As part of our private tour day tour from Quito to Mindo, we had lunch on the terrace of the restaurant, which overlooks the cloud forest. This is a relatively new property. We hope this review encourages people to stay or enjoy lunch or dinner here. The staff were warmly welcoming and did everything they could for our experience to be a good one. The menu had an ample many enticing choices; we all had something different and it was absolutely excellent in every way, like what you'd expect in a fine restaurant in NYC

Fantastic place, very friendly staff. Marco made us feel very welcome. We had the best room with a great view, lots of birds, agouti, squirrel. And there are two fantastic dogs that like your love a lot. Also enjoyed the bubble bath a lot. Food is very good as well. Birding tours were well arranged, we had a good guide two times and saw many different species.

This boutique lodge was one of the highlights of my Ecuador trip so far. The manager is so friendly, helpful, and welcomed us with great energy. The views from Room 8 were incredible, and it was a stellar way to be introduced to the Cloud Forrest of Ecuador. I hope to come back here sooner than later. Highly recommend 10/10!

We splurged for our last night in the Mindo area and enjoyed the luxury of Las Terrazas de Dana. Staff were excellent and accommodating. They arranged transport for us from Mindo to Guango Lodge, recommended area walks, and had umbrellas available for guests to use. The food was excellent, including breakfast (included) and dinner (not included). Very comfortable and spacious rooms. The only fault I could find was that the sound of rain on the roof was laud, which made it a bit difficult to sleep. But overall the stay was delightful.

In January we stayed 3 nights at Las Terrazas de Dana. A lovely boutique hotel just outside Mindo. After a heartwarming welcome by Marco, the manager, we were guided to our suite. A lovely room with an beautiful view over the Cloudforest and the well maintained garden. Birds are all around you. The restaurant serves delicious meals, the whole staff is lovely and very helpful. They really make you feel at home. The birdwatching tour we requested, was fabulous, our guide had so much knowledge about all the birds and with her telescope, we saw the most amazing birds. Two special staff members need to be mentioned, Dana and Kira, 2 lovely dogs who welcome you every time you pass by. To make a long story short, this is really the place to be when staying in Mindo.

This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. More like a spa retreat. It felt so secluded off the main path, with a large deck, and comfortable beds. And the best bathroom: huge, a jacuzzi, beautiful tiling, incredible water pressure in the shower. And the restaurant had lovely food and superb service. It looked over the pool and trees and again just felt so peaceful and remote - the perfect getaway! Most importantly, the best service ever. Everyone made us feel like we were the most important people there, and they thought of everything we needed. When we had a 5am birding expedition, they had a picnic lunch and coffee waiting for us. I recommend to everyone and hope to be back!
