I want my money back. The lobby was full of cats, smelling from cat Urin and a mess. This is not a hotel. The room was not airable as the windows could not be opened. The tatami was so old that it was dark brown. There was a notice that bed bucks should be killed immediately as they were dangerous to health. A spray was provided. The dining room was messy. It is your responsibility to offer hotelrooms not cat shelters in derelict buildings. Needless to say we were the only guests. Another couple who wanted to check in turned on the spot after they had seen and smelt the lobby. I want my money back or I will never use your service again.

The views are amazing! The hot spa is just what I needed after a long day of walking.

Had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant; they actually ran out of rice! How bad must a place be to actually run out of rice for dinners? Shameful or incompetent!

Great location

Hotel with a great location above the sea. Japanese breakfast. There is also an onsen. What is a little annoying is the smell of cats, because the lobby is home to a large number of cats...

【ペット同伴あり】【動物注意】 海が見えるロケーションということで、予約を取りました。事前の口コミで「ホテル内に猫がいる」という点は理解しているつもりでしたが、実際には「保護猫を40匹ほど所有している」「ロビーには10匹程度の猫がいる」という状態でした。 実際、ロビーや猫用ラウンジ（かつては食堂や宿泊者用のラウンジだったかもしれないスペース）は、猫ちゃんの生活の臭いがしました。動物が苦手な方にはオススメできません。 私の確認不足でしたが、公式ホームページに「ペット同伴ルームあり」との表記がありました。口コミや公式情報を知らずに予約したり、動物が苦手だったりすると、快適な滞在にはならないかと思います。ペット連れの利用者さんと、エレベーターで会いましたが、広くないエレベーター内で、ペットさんと飼い主さんと同乗することは憚られ、エレベーターには乗らず、お譲りしました。 猫ちゃん好きの宿泊者さんは、ロビーで猫たちと戯れていましたので、ペットホテルとしての楽しみはあると思います。 レストランは動物同伴禁止とのことでした。 宿泊施設は古式ゆかしい作り。昭和後期！と思えば納得がいきます。アメニティやリネン類なども昭和レトロな宿感を楽しめると思います。 ロケーションは海沿いで文句なしです。 お風呂は、少ないスペースを最大限に活用している感がありました。そのなかでも、インフィニティプールを彷彿とさせる露天風呂はすばらしかったです。 結論として、古めの施設と、動物がいること、この2点を不快と思わなければ、素晴らしい滞在ができるかと思います。

Shiroi Todai (lit. White Lighthouse) is a three-star hotel standing on a cliff, with all the rooms facing the ocean. Waking up in an adorably decorated sun-lit room, having an open-air onsen bath, watching the Pacific Ocean after a day of walking... Trying all varieties of local seafood at dinner... Petting one of the friendly cats that live at the hotel... Shiroi Todai is another town's attraction to consider, as the restaurant and onsen are also open to non-guests. Minami Town itself is a great choice for a relaxing weekend. Watching the sunrise on beautiful Ohama beach, falling forever in love with the picturesque Tori gates on Tate island, an evening visit to Yakuoji temple, nursing baby sea turtles in Caretta Museum, the view of the Pacific Ocean through the Ebisu sea cave or exploring by boat or on foot - whatever you choose, Minami is a truly fascinating little place, with so much to explore.
