Milton Keynes South

A good premier inn in a great position within parkland. The bed was comfortable but unfortunately it was a warm humid night, and as there is no aircon and the velux windows don't open, it was too hot to be comfortable. Breakfast was a different story. I am gluten allergic and when I arrived for breakfast I met Debs who appeared to be running the breakfasting room. She was absolutely marvellous. She did far more for me than anywhere else I've ever eaten. She rewiped the table for me...she washed cutlery for me to use. She washed a cup for me. She then asked what I would like to eat and ensured that the kitchen was aware that I am gluten-free. She collected my food from the kitchen and brought it to my table. She is a great asset to Premier Inn and I understand from her that the staff receive monthly allergy training. This hotel certainly takes that seriously. It is good for me to know this. Thank you again Debs.

Came down for s game and probably one of of the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Hotel was next to s lake which was beautiful. On reception we were treated to ice cold water and fruits and sweets. Clean room and good breakfast help yourself buffet definitely visit again

Lovely lake side hotel with our room having the view of the swans and ducks in the lake. Clean rooms with the basic facilities. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Dinner at hickory was excellent. BreKfast was the best part with hot food and excellent service

We've stayed here many times when visiting our friends in Milton Keynes. Stayed in room 111 on this occasion. Best room yet , with balcony overlooking the lake. Breakfast for the first time this morning also good. Hope we get the same room on our return in September.

To start positively:- the bed was comfy and the view was nice; breakfast was fine; shower unit was fine. And then.... The room (9) was dirty; edging around furniture was loose/ peeling off; walls in the bathroom were bizarrely painted with slodges over the ceiling; no where to sit other than the bed - just uncared for. Not what we have come to expect of Premier Inn standards, and we have tried many. Staff were not rude but neither were they welcoming. The check in person spoke enough to get us in "Name , car reg, room 9" and that was it. I tried a little conversation and got no response. The lady on breakfast duty asked our room number and we didn't see her again, literally. We would not recommend this hotel. The choice of places to eat near by if not Hickories is minimal and hard to find.

Friendly checking in at the reception, lovely lake view room,. The breakfast service and food was excellent. Ample of parking space. Definitely recommend to come to the hotel. Also will try to come during the summer. Site needs little refurb around the corridor but overall great experience
