Milton Keynes South

From a personnel point of view, it was really good. From a facility point of view, I was quite disappointed that there was no restaurant available, especially after travelling all day. On entering the car park area, it was clear that there was a huge construction project going on and really first impressions was that the hotel was closed.The fact that the restaurant was under refurbishment should have been pointed out on the website when viewing the Premier Inn and no onsite eating facilities was available We were given alternatives, but these were 1 & 2 miles from the hotel.

we booked here for a stop over one night , landed at luton and stayed here overnight too avoid rush hour traffic ... we arrived early evening , the place is building site, litter everywhere and not a good start , we went too reception and was given our room and told the restaurant is u being refurbed . it's was feeling but is going g too be something else , so here's a list of places u can go for food ..... what time do u want ur breakfast ...... the room was ok . dated and dark , bed comfy and minimal tea facilities so had too go back too reception too gather some for the supply table..... the kettle was grotty inside needs a descale and the seal and in bathroom was bad poor finish . always use premier whe. needed but this one wasnt usual standard ... the breakfast pulled things back a little as quality hot and choice .... maybe contacting pre booking or eve. updating the website too notify about the building site .... as it's still not being declared on booking a d it was a big inconvenience too us . we had had a long day travelling and the last thing we wanted too do was too drive too get food

The most basic Premier Inn I’ve ever stayed in. Needs a renovation in the rooms. ( more like a Travelodge) No Restaurant at the moment, this should be open late March? it looks like a building site pulling into the car park. Found the room cold when I got there. It’s an electric wall heater. Breakfast was nice, staff were friendly.

Friendly and very helpful staff with well appointed rooms. Nice views - but would benefit from the sprinkling of litter (dropped out of windows?) being picked up…. Breakfast was good. Until the new restaurant build is completed (ongoing at time of visit), evening meals are not available on site. As the hotel is located out of town, a trip into Milton Keynes is needed (£5 Uber) where there’s a wide range of the usual food chain outlets to choose from.

We were in Caldecote to meet a friend and also a little bit of help. So, if you want service that goes that extra mile, then look no further than the Premier Inn South Caldecote Lake. Debbie especially goes above and beyond and is lovely with it - thank you for the coffee😉

The beds at Premier Inns are always amazingly comfy and this place was no different. Unfortunately this is where the good bits end! The restaurant attached to the hotel is currently undergoing a refurbishment, which means the car park is a bit of a mess. We arrived in the dark and struggled to know where to go - no real signage or decent lighting. Check in was fine but then the room was awful. It was freezing cold and took ages to heat up. It was grubby and just didn't have the usual Premier Inn feel (I stay in them a lot). Worse though there were dirty plates in the drawer. We had no idea how long they had been there, but slightly worrying housekeeping didn't spot them. We told reception who said they would collect them but they never did. We only needed a bed for the night so it was fine, but I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here if you're looking to spend much time in the room and I won't be rushing back.
