Ostria Hotel

Wonderful stay in Ostria Hotel We found this family run hotel on trip advisor . I would like to express my thanks to the entire staff Petros , Argyro , and the young energetic new generation Nick, Christine . All off them made us feel home and all of them were very attentive to all our requests . They recommended wonderful places, great restaurants and overall made us feel as a part of a family . BRAVO !!!! J & P

Hotel Ostria is beautiful but I didnt want to pay the price of a boutique hotel. The young lady in the Hotel directed me to Hotel Ostria Studio apartments just two streets away, accessed in the lane alongside the Mining Hotel (well worth a visit). Sadly it has taken me too long to get round to review all the places I visited on my Island Hopping trip and I have forgotten the name of the lovely owner or BOTH these properties. The studios at that time were only weeks old and have been designed to a very high standard, shower with a built in light in the showerhead to indicate hot and cold, very cool! The owner is lovely, she is very accommodating and genuinely wanted to know what I thought of the Studios. The interior is cutting edge design and facilities and a breakfast tray of some rusk type toasts and honey is provided, with biscuits etc. I had a little patio which although overlooking the street, this is a quiet street. I was effectively on theback of the main apartment block which has a central atrium, just all very lovely. I paid 40 euros a night which isnt cheap but this was excellent quality. I had originally stayed one night in some Studios/Rooms a couple of streets on the other side of Hotel Ostria, which were good value, clean but the owner of those apartments lived in accommodation below the rented accommodation and his children screamed and ran up and down and banged doors until late evening which is no good if you re tired and want an early night.

My husband and I stayed here in July with my father and his family and had a lovely time. The rooms were very clean, the bed was comforable, the a/c worked like a charm (it would've been unpleasant not to have a/c) and there was free and reliable wifi. It was also very nice to have a small refridgerator and a small balcony with a view down to the water. The only slight glitch was that the shower cycled through hot to cold the entire time it was in use and wouldn't hold a consistent temp. It made showering somewhat less than relaxing since you never knew if you'd be scalded or frozen. The hotel is situated on the edge of town about 50 m up from the road. It was a little difficult to find initially by car since you must take some very narrow side roads to reach it, despite its proximity to the main road. It is about a 5-10 min walk to the center of town. The water closest to the hotel isn't particularly suited to bathing since it's where many of the small fishing boats are docked and there's not really any beach. The water is clear, however, and we did see several locals swimming in this area. You need to head southeast along the road out of town to get to something you might consider a beach. Its location did make it very quiet which was nice. Central Adhamas is very busy and bustling and I think staying closer to town would've been too noisy. The breakfast was very nice and served a selection of local pastries that changed each day. The bougadza was delicious as was the karpousopita which is a local speciality (watermelon pie). The desk staff were very helpful and gave us many suggestions on where to eat and which beaches to visit. My father's wife is Greek and so we communicated with the staff in Greek. I'm not sure how good their English is - they definitely do speak some English. All in all it was a lovely stay and I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Milos.

This hotel was one of our favorite places to stay on our recent Greece trip. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Always willing to answer our questions or give us tips on where to go or places to see. A great selection for breakfast which catered for a fussy eater. The rooms are so clean and the views from the hotels were gorgeous.

Hotel a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Adamas, in una zona tranquilla e silenziosa che fa si che il riposo sia eccellente, grazie al comodo letto e al buon cotone delle lenzuola. Hotel nuovo pulitissimo, dove ogni cosa è curata in ogni minimo particola, grazie a tutto lo staff dell'hotel che saluto e ringrazio per l'eccellente disponibilità, cortesia ed educazione. Stanze climatizzate con ampio bagno con tutto ciò che serve, bagnoschiuma shampoo, phone. Nella stanza troverete un piccolo frigo e tv LCD a parete. Qualità del riposo ottima. Colazione a buffet ricca di dolce e salato, arricchita anche da frutta fresca. L'hotel ha al secondo piano una terrazza panoramica sul golfo di Adamas arredata da poltrone e sdraio curata in ogn particolare con musica di sottofondo, in una sola parola magnifica. Wifi gratuito non sempre funzionante come avrebbe dovuto. Hotel che consiglio e ci tornerei subito.

Ho alloggiato presso gli studios dell'hotel Ostria nella prima metà di luglio 2020 per una settimana. Mi sono trovata benissimo, la conduzione della struttura (hotel e studios) è familiare: Vana e suo marito sono stati gentilissimi e davvero disponibili. Gli studios si trovano vicino l'hotel in una zona tranquilla e silenziosa subito fuori dal centro di Adamas. La posizione è ottimale: il centro di Adamas è raggiungibile a piedi in circa 5 minuti, a pochi minuti di quad o auto si trova la spiaggia Papikinou beach (la spiaggia di Adamas), consiglio comunque di visitare anche le altre spiagge dell'isola. Il mio studios si trovava al piano terra, era ampio, arredato con gusto e ristrutturato di recente. Nel bagno c'è la doccia con box in vetro (cosa rara in Grecia). Nello studio c'è un piccolo angolo cottura con piano a induzione, lavandino, frigo e tavolo: la mattina era possibile preparare la colazione comodamente (in centro ci sono molti supermarket dove procurarsi tutto il necessario). C'è tutto l'occorrente in merito a stoviglie e pentole. Letto ampio e comodo. Ottima pulizia giornaliera e cambio asciugamani giornaliero. All'esterno dello studios c'è un ampio atrio con stendibiancheria dove poter stendere teli mare e costumi. Ogni studios ha all'esterno un tavolino con sedie o un divanetto. Che dire? per me era tutto perfetto! Lo consiglio vivamente! Un ringraziamento speciale a Vana e a suo marito che ci hanno offerto gentilmente frutta fresca, yogurt e vino, davvero persone uniche e speciali! Tornerò sicuramente! Milos è un'isola splendida, andateci!
