Sandside is breathtaking, with sublime views and loads of opportunities for walking and cycling. Although barely 15 miles from the southern shore of Windermere and less than ten minutes from Kendal, the number of visitors is far fewer than the Lakes, which means it always feels tranquil, even in the busy school holiday season.
