This was the second time we've stayed here. Last time was better, marginally. This stay, the price had gone up by about $40 yet the stay was worse. There was no wifi any more and the room and bathroom were filthy when we arrived. The kettle didn't work properly, there was no servicing of the rooms on the weekend. There was minimal cutlery. The front yard is shameful with an old or run down cars, an old boat and a trailer all detracting from what should be a lovely view of the lake. The office is a shambles and the whole property has stuff hoarded / piled around. It's pet friendly and when we stayed there were at least 5 dogs and 3 cats on the property. I went out in the morning to look at the lake and nearly stepped in dog poo on the lawn. The owners are not keeping the place up to scratch. It has so much potential but needs a change of hands. We decided to stay elsewhere as we couldn't deal with the place any more.

What can I say. First impression. Very run down and out dated. Heaps of potential that is not being utilised. Has permanent residents staying in motel rooms. Broken down car in car park. Reception cluttered. Old scrap sitting on lawn. Old tyres outside toilet window. Not 100% the sheets were changed from last visitors. Friendly owner who I'd say does not go outside much. However bed was very comfortable. Let's chalk this one up to experience.
