Vico Fashion District

Really nice room and the space has been used well. The furnishings are tasteful, bedding and towels clean and soft, and amenities (little fridge, coffee machine, cold water) are nice. The shower is great and made of an easy-to-clean surface, which I appreciate when staying in a B&B-type accomm. What stands out is the location. You're a 15-minute walk from Duomo, so you're right in the city centre. I agree with the other reviewer that there was an odd smell upon arrival, but it fixed itself by opening the window for a while. I honestly think it's just that, rather than chronic dampness. It's high up, does not catch a lot of direct sunlight, and has small-ish widows. It's as simple as opening them frequently. I'd stay again.

We had two rooms that we rented for a weekend with friends. The place is odd as it is on the 5th floor of an extremely old building with both commercial and residential occupants. Hallways have not been cleaned for some time and there is an overwhelming smell of mold. The staff is quite personable but only there for a few hours each day. The rooms themselves have been modernized and refreshed, but again, ours was so moldy we had reactions. It was impossible to leave the windows open due to mosquitos which we assume were an ongoing problem as each room had bug killers in place. Not sure if we would stay there again. If you love steampunk, this place has an elevator for you!!!!!
