The room was suitable for a family of four, which is not always easy to find in Italy, that’s definitely a plus. However, there were several downsides. First, there was a motion sensor light at the entrance of the room that kept turning on and off, even when there was no movement. As a result, the light would come on every five minutes, even in the middle of the night when everyone was asleep, it was extremely annoying. I reported the issue to reception, and the only response was to hand me some paper and tape so I could cover the sensor myself, great service, right? On top of that, the shower was leaking, which meant low water pressure and water all over the floor. The air conditioning barely worked, it was set to 20°, but we were still hot every night. We had to open the windows, and it was very noisy outside. Breakfast was also poorly managed, at 9:15 in the morning, we had to wait 40 minutes for them to restock the croissants. When we checked out, no one asked how our stay had been or followed up about the issue with the light sensor, in short, zero hospitality. We won’t be coming back.
