If you are attending a concert at the Bluegate Theater in Shipshewana, this is the place to stay. Its a convenient 10 minute drive.

This property had such a unique amd calming atmosphere! Absolutely qould recommend this place to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The only improvement I would note is that they need much better pillows on their beds.

We had an event in Shipshewana, so stayed at the Essenhaus Inn. Everything about our stay made it a Home-Away- From-Home. From the Check-In to the entire staff who made it so comfortable.The Breakfast was also outstanding! We booked another stay on our way out, Thank You for such a nice experience for us!

Common areas with beverages, microwave, checkers and seating to read quietly. Overall quiet and homey setting. Close to their Amish restaurant.

I have never seen a more beautiful plant (the building) or property the location. at any other hotel we have visited or stayed in. the food the staff the room. I just can't say enough about how pleasant the stay was. My only problem was that we were traveling and got there rather late, so we couldn't enjoy it more. best there is!!

We've gone there for many years, call it our home away from home. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. One note is their pillows and mattresses are not very comfortable.

Beautiful property with an enormous amount of sitting options throughout.. fireplaces, stuffed dogs (in case you’re missing your fur baby!), nice entertainment area with pool, hot tubs, game room. Country decor, spacious room.. we will be back!

We liked the fact that it was very convenient to our destination of Shipshewana. We thought the room temp could have been warmer though.

The rooms were quire large. Very comfortable. The hot breakfast was also very good.

The rooms were big and very clean. They had an awesome shower. Beds were new and comfortable. Loved the fresh coffee everyday all day with delicious cookies!
