Excellent location in cool Condesa, walking distance from some great restaurants and cafes. Comfortable room, lovely breakfast ( the best croissant and pastries from local bakery ) Very attentive staff full of good advice and tips, special thanks to Angeles!

I don’t usually write reviews due to lack of time, but on this occasion, I want to make an exception because this place truly deserves it. I am a local resident of Mexico City, but I needed to spend a few days in a different neighborhood from where I live. Octavia Casa is located on a quiet street in the heart of Condesa, one of my favorite neighborhoods. The space is discreet yet incredibly tasteful— the scents, the lighting, the music, and the art, everything is perfectly curated. The discreet and kind staff made my arrival quick and effortless. I had a dinner reservation since there are plenty of trendy, new restaurants within walking distance, but when I got to the room, I found it so beautiful and cozy that I decided to stay in. There are only a few rooms, and although the hotel was fully booked, I never saw other guests or heard any noise. The bathroom offers top-quality amenities, and the thoughtful details left in the room make you feel truly welcome. They serve delicious coffee in the mornings, as well as breakfast, and in the evenings, they have an “Honesty Bar” where you can enjoy a mezcal or a glass of wine before heading out to dinner. I genuinely recommend this place. I know Mexico City very well, and I can confidently say that, for its location and service, it is one of the best places I have stayed. It’s ideal for travelers who enjoy discovering the local side of a destination, in quiet and peaceful areas.

Book your stay here! What an amazing place, we can’t wait to come back. The hotel is impeccably designed, it strikes the best balance of sleek, warm, and elegant. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the in-room amenities are top of the line. It is a very luxurious stay. The location is excellent. The hotel is in the very trendy and walkable tree-lined Condesa. It is steps away from fantastic restaurants and cafes (we loved Malcraido for breakfast and it’s about 1 min away!). It was very easy to get to the other neighborhoods where we wanted to sightsee. What puts Octavia Casa over the top is the hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the team going above and beyond. First, everyone on the team gave us excellent recommendations for whatever we asked about (restaurants in specific neighborhoods, shopping, must see sights, etc). Second, they take the extra effort to make it feel like home. For example, we came back to the hotel one night between sightseeing and dinner and were a little chilly, and we were immediately asked if we’d like a cup of tea. On our last night we were reminded we had not yet had our complimentary glass of wine - and we were poured two amazing glasses (one red, one white). Not only is this hotel gorgeous, but everyone on the team goes the extra mile. I can’t wait to come back to CDMX & to stay here again!

Octavia Casa is a beautiful small boutique hotel in the Condesa area. The beds were comfortable and the linens of high quality. We loved our 4 night stay. Staff is unbelievably helpful and they all go above and beyond to ensure your stay is just perfect. I highly recommend.

Octavia Casa is a peaceful oasis in the heart of a vibrant Condesa neighborhood. The rooms are extremely well conceived and the design and style put you at peace the minute you walk through the door. And don’t overlook taking your coffee on the rooftop terrace as Condesa wakes up around you. A very nice and well done hotel. But the best is not the hotel, but the people. During our stay we had a chance to meet every staff member and each one was as nice and pleasantly accommodating as the other. Attentive without being in the way and willing to do anything to help (like snag a Sunday lunch reservation for 4 at Contramar). I fell ill while there and, hearing the news, one of the owners showed up with her own driver, took me to the medical clinic and didn’t leave until she was sure I was take care of. Mexico City is a big, energetic and amazing city. And peaceful Octavia Casa is 100% where you should stay when you go. We hope to return soon.

After doing a lot of research on where to stay in Mexico City I ended up at Octavia Casa and am so glad I did! The booking process was easy and the hosts were very caring and communicative starting before my arrival. The building itself is gorgeous, with thoughtful amenities including a self-serve "honor bar." Its small size means you are well taken care of, for example, our room was made up while we were out at breakfast. The recommendations of the hosts (for restaurants and tours) were fantastic. Our health took a turn for the worse while in CDMX, and the hotel staff could not have been more accommodating- they helped us find a doctor who visited on site, and brought up food order deliveries without being asked. I would happily stay at Octavia Casa again, highly recommend!
