Relais Palazzo Cacace

I stayed here to celebrate a birthday, and it was wonderful! The place itself is an old palace, which makes it feel truly special, full of character, history and charm, yet beautifully maintained and cosy. What made the stay unforgettable was the host, who went above and beyond by surprising me with a gorgeous birthday breakfast. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made my day feel extra magical. The location is peaceful and romantic. I can easily imagine this being the perfect place for a proposal, but also wonderful for a simple weekend getaway. They also have a beautiful garden, which would be a fantastic spot for hosting or just relaxing outdoors. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay with a personal touch! 🌿✨

One of the nicest places we stayed on our vacation. An absolutely stunning old building with a beautiful garden. The location couldn’t be better as it is right by the train station and also walking distance from the beach and restaurants. Mery and Max were wonderful hosts and very available to give us recommendations. Thank you!

Our stay Palazzo Cacace Relais with Rosy and Enzo and has been very relaxing. Meta rail & bus station (both less then 5 mins) have excellent connections to all the places that we wanted to visit during our stay on the Amalfi Coast (Pompeii, Herculeum, Sorrento, Positano, Capri and the beach). The beach at Meta is a 10 min walk as are a number of restaurants if you would like to stay local in the evening. Meta has one of the beach beaches that we seen on Amalfi and in itself is an ideal place if you’d like to visit various parts of Amalfi Coast but prefer quieter accommodation allowing a comfort and good nights sleep. The beach is where all the young local people come at the weekend to enjoy as is one of the best to visit. Now to the important part, the garden room that we shared with our teenage daughter was beautiful, spacious with private access directly onto the beautiful gardens which Rosy maintains. The decor throughout is relaxing and calming with very comfortable beds. The whole of Palazzo Cacace is spotlessly clean throughout. Breakfast is exceptional where there are the various dishes, cheeses etc and amazing sweet treats, fresh lemons and good coffee. Enzo & Rosy are more than happy to take any requests during your visit. Cakes and sweet delights made by Rosaria are in abundance and extremely tempting. Enzo is more than happy to help with any requirements you have. As I was having problems with train booking to Florence he kindly assisted. We also visited a local Mozzarella which he booked and drove us too, a wonderful experience for anyone visiting the area. We would have no hesitation recommending the Palazzo to anyone, single, couple or family travellers. If returning to Amalfi we would return to Palazzo Cacace Relais.

We stayed in the triple room with the garden view in this traditional Pallazzo for 3 nights in September 2022. The bedroom and bathroom were of high quality and both beautiful and clean and the bed very comfortable. We felt at home straight away. The room has a small balcony with its own table and two chairs overlooking the garden but there are also 3 different seperate peaceful seating areas in the garden where you can admire the flowers and lemon trees. The breakfast was authentically italian with plenty of different food options to choose from and included a selection of daily homemade cakes. The Pallazzo is a 2/3 minute walk from the Meta Train station on the Circumvesuviana trainline (which runs from Naples to Sorrento ) which we also used for our vists to Pompeii and Herculeneum and for the final leg of a day trip to Amalfi (returning by Ferry to Sorrento with 3 stops then on the train to Meta). The best eating places all seem to be down by the beach which was a c15 minute walk (downhill). We found it easy to catch a bus back up with a stop at the Meta train station (there was usually a bus waiting just down from Tico Tico). A special mention must be made to the hosts Enzo and Rosaria. They were both extremely welcoming and helpful and Enzo kindly sorted several things out for us which made our stay so much easier. Thank you for a lovely stay.
