This hotel is steps away from the main city square so that you are blocks from all the best restaurants, sites and parks. The staff are fantastic as well, very friendly and helpful. The central atrium, high ceilings and secret outdoor terrace are great amenities as well. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because: (1) the central atrium radiates noise up to all guestrooms facing onto the atrium, meaning that you can hear loud people on the ground floor restaurant all the way into your guestroom which can disrupt sleep (2) the bathroom sinks are poorly designed, with a sink that doesn't have a proper bowl shape and a sensitive faucet / tap, resulting in getting splashed by water every time you use it

This hotel not only offers a refreshing pool, but also a wide selection of excellent drinks. The relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff make staying here a real pleasure! The staff is really friendly and the music is relaxed. I can recommend it to everyone!

Very nice location. Good and very relaxed music. Nice place to drink and chill with friends at the pool. The barkeeper is very friendly and prepared some really good drinks. We even got free towels without asking. I would definitely come back :)

Beautiful hotel, elegant rooms, but it's the staff that really makes this special. They went out of their way to make every aspect of our stay wonderful. Great breakfasts, we loved the chilaquiles, and in the evening the pizzas are a delight. We will without a doubt stay here on our next visit to Mérida.

Rooms extremely loud and tiny. No glass windows, rooms like balcony, open to one of the busiest streets of Merida. Breakfast service too late and extremely slow. Breakfast choice poor. There are other and better Boutique hotels around. Dinner quality very good

Jorge Aguilar went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He made sure we were comfortable and well taken of. He also a talented chef. Has a great sense of humor and is exceptionally efficient.

This hotel was like being in a museum. The staff, food and drinks were all incredible. And to top it off the view was absolutely stunning! As soon as we arrived the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and made us feel at home. Right in the middle of the heart of Beautiful Merida!

A hotel that advertises itself as boutique. It sits on Calle 60, just off the north side of the Plaza Grande. The main entrance is modest, sitting between tourist travel shops and bureaux de change. But on getting beyond the utilitarian reception desk, there is a loverly airy atrium leading through to a small garden, pool and restaurant where breakfast is served. We had a small double room overlooking Calle 60 with a small balcony. The room really was very small with little space for anything, and with a proportionately tiny bathroom. The street-fronting aspect gave some natural light but the street also gave much traffic noise from 5am, enough to wake us. The saving grace was that the square did fall quiet by 11pm. Service was perfunctory but adequate. Continental breakfast was barely adequate and is not recommended; the full breakfast looked better value. Overall a great location, but boutique only in style, image and price. Service and room were barely adequate.

Have you heard the expression, “If you put lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig”? That perfectly describes this dump. Sure, as you enter the main area, it is visually arresting but that’s where it ends. Inside the rooms (I was moved once) the bathrooms wreak of sewage, the drains constantly gurgle and the walls are filthy. There are no desks as promised in the description and there are no drawers to put your clothes, so you have to live out of your suitcase. The doors to the balconies don’t close all the way so mosquito’s get in and they bite. Also, the main road (Calle 60) is right below your window and even great earplugs couldn’t drown out the loud trucks, motorcycles etc. Mid-week they tried to offer me a window-less room but I just couldn’t do it. I came for sun! I finally had to move out (found a WAY better place) and although they told me they would refund me, they totally lied and completely ripped me off so I am out a lot of money. The food was bad and now that I’ve had a much better experience my second week, elsewhere, I can tell you there is so much better food/drinks everywhere in the city. Do not be fooled by their photos and do not waste your money here!!!
