Really nice small and intimate hotel in a lovely location. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely decorated in a mix of old and modern though the balcony we had is probably the smallest I've ever seen in a hotel! The rooftop terrace and pool is very small with only 6 sun beds but is very relaxing and has amazing views. I have to say this is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in, everywhere is absolutely spotless with no trace of dust or stains and the care the male cleaner took in looking after the rooms every day was amazing. The only disappointment for the three of us in my party was the breakfast which is why I didn't give 5 stars. I was so looking forward to it as well having seen previous photos of when it was served at the square bistro opposite. It is now served downstairs in Doms bistro and sadly it is now a poor imitation of that and it looks like they are counting the pennies! It is still served on a three tier stand but you get absolutely no choice at all, they don't even ask if you are vegetarian (not that we are). So each day it was a rather bland egg dish on the bottom tier, an example being a one egg omelette with no fillings or seasoning, another time a sausage on a soggy brioche bap with ready brought (not fresh) avocado. With such a small number of rooms surely you could ask your customers what type of eggs they would like? The middle tier was a few of the same pastries every day and the top a rather boring selection of fruit, always oranges and grapes. What about strawberries for a change which we saw in abundance at the local shops? Finally no toast or bread offered and the staff appeared shocked that you might ask for toast!! Just all a bit odd really and such a shame as it would be a prefect hotel if they got the breakfast right.
