Sandy Shoes Beach Hotel

We had the second floor oceanfront balcony room and the view was spectacular! Not only was the view spectacular but the sounds of the waves made it even more perfect! Spacious and clean room, kitchenette with everything you’d need included. Comfy bed and large bathroom. Water pressure was great! AC was perfect for me since I like the room cold! Beautiful sunrise view! Recommend Hemmingway’s Tavern for dinner and Oh Biscuit for breakfast. We are already planning a trip back!

Not for me. This is more like a vacation rental, Airbnb style, very very very far from a "resort" as claimed. -No coffee -Issues with the lock to get in and out -The room is released at 4 pm and after 5 no more staff on the premises -Locked inside, needed to jump the window to go to the beach, no one came -Inconvenient employee blowing leaves on a Sunday! -Inconvenient wood around the bed that hurts you -Pillows are too high -No napkins -Not even a plate to use the microwave The good: -At the beach -No check-in

Had a great time in this location. Rooms are huge and very clean. Beds are king size and very comfortable. Hotel is right on the beach, which is so serene, and the pool is also great. If you travel with children there are rooms with bunk beds which are wonderful for family stay.

What a fabulous find! From the moment we arrived we could tell this sweet place is well maintained. Entering the front office we were greeted with smiles and friendly faces. Stephanie and the staff were amazingly accommodating. The rooms are appointed very well and everything is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. The beds are comfortable with COTTON SHEETS of good quality. Pillows were nice and there were lots of them. They have beach chairs, beach towels and umbrellas (free) for the guests, (first come) The pool was refreshing and uses salt for the chlorination (so much easier on the eyes and skin). It is pet friendly. The east coast requires "lights out" after 9 am to protect the sea turtles. This made star gazing by the ocean which is amazing AND there was a rocket launch the first night we were there. Very enjoyable. I almost don't want to write a review for fear it will get too well known and I won't find vacancies when I want to visit. Only improvement I would suggest is more hooks or towel bars in the bathroom and maybe a shower caddy for shampoos. But none of that was important enough to take away from a wonderful experience.

Really cute place and right on the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable and clean. There is a coffee machine and a mini fridge. The only sink to use is the bathroom sink- not a deal breaker, but kind of a pain. It was quiet and peaceful. I would stay there again.

The hotel is amazing . The rooms are so huge and clean and comfortable with king size bed. You had one bedroom or two bedrooms rooms which is great and very comfortable for a family. It is so nice that it is straight on the beach . We had a wonderful time .
