Dear fellow traveler, I was very dissatisfied with this hotel due to their cancellation policy, which I find opaque and greedy. When I expressed to the hotel my intention to alert other potential customers about my negative experience by writing a review, the hotel management tried to intimidate me and threatened me with legal actions (legal actions for writing a review?!). The hotel management does not seem to be able to handle any negative feedback, as you can see from the extremely dismissive answers that they systematically give to any negative reviews. I am wondering how this attitude will help a small hotel survive in the long run in a hospitality industry increasingly dominated by big companies. Suggestion for other travelers: if you really have not found anything better in Megeve than this hotel, be aware that any negative comments you may have will most likely be met by a very aggressive management, which may ruin your vacation.
