Especially remember the cocktails by Pethum at the Sunset Bar, the pool, the restaurants and all the staff too many to mention ( Andrea, Ari, Sandali, Lahiru, APuRva, and many many more).

We’ve just returned from our second visit to meedhupparu, the island is so beautiful and all the staff are amazing. We staying in a delux family villa which is perfect for a family of 5 with two villas with an interconnecting door. May from reception was so helpful we had some trouble with our daughters glucose sensor and she helped us resolve it she really saved our holiday thank you , Preeti and Zaibe were both amazing in the Sufara restaurant and both really looked after us everyday, also the Chefs Laxman was really attentive and even cooked crab on our son’s request We really hope we can visit again, such a relaxing amazing holiday

We have just returned from our 3rd visit to this magical island. We were only ever going once however this place is special and gets under your skin. From stepping off the seaplane we were welcomed with happy smile faces. It was fabulous walking round and staff welcoming us back. We stayed 10nights in a beach villa and 4 in a watervilla (will review this separately). We were lucky to be allocated villa 163, literally inches from on the ocean, at high tide it actally came up to our steps, it was wonderful. We were very blessed to have dolphins right outside our villa one morning. Amazing! The Indian resteraunt Sufura is superb and a must try. Apporva, Preeti, Chef Laxman and all the other staff are exeptional. Oh I do miss the butter naans and chicken tikka (sigh). Lots of choice for breakfast and lunch in the main resteraunt Jaifray (apologies for the spelling). We strolled around the beautiful gardens and loved seeing all the nature and resident fauna. Same who manages the pool is a credit to the company. He was daily battling with complaints about not enough sunloungers. His customer service is excellent. It was so nice to see additional sunloungers being delivered to the pool just before we left. We enjoyed drinks chat and banter at the Albino bar, Sunset bar, pool bar, cafe mass and the Halaboli bar. A few names to mention for outstanding service and friendliness are Alif, Saranga Janaka, Ifaa Rumesh, Pethum Lahiru, Sumith/Chamara amd Capi. There are many other but names escape me. It was also nice to meet the new GM. We loved chatting to staff and learning abit about their lives and culture and feel blessed to refer to them as friends. The staff on this island are the real heart and soul of it. We have only been back 3 dats and already have itchy feet for our favourite place so see you next June magical Meed!

Wow what a wonderful stay in paradise. The Prestige Water Villas experience was pure luxury. Our butler Addhu was the perfect mix, attentive, helpful, communicative and impressive attention to detail and punctuality. The overwater villa was beautiful. The balcony was just as described with private jacuzzi and window to the sea to view the amazing fish. We snorkeled from the balcony and enjoyed the private beach and pool. Service was impeccable everywhere we went. The food in the Villa restaurant was a constant surprise and delight with delicious tastes at every turn. It was a spectacle on a plate. We particularly enjoyed the service from Sam and Nuaim in the restaurant. I enjoyed a trip on the catamaran with the knowledgeable and interstellar Sande and felt safe with the watersports team. The spa team were excellent and even the shopping was affordable. The nightlife was fun and plenty on offer. Moosa was an excellent housekeeper! The two free excursions were relaxing and enjoyable. The sunsets from our villa and the sunset bar were spectacular. It's just going home that is difficult. But travelling by seaplane makes it so exciting.

We loved coming to the bar every night and seeing the smiling faces of the lovely staff pethum Rumesh iresh loved speaking to them and laughing with them while having a beverage or two….. they are so hardworking and will do anything to help you and are genuinely interested in you and making sure you have a lovely time.

We went late April early May and we had the most wonderful time. The staff were amazing couldn’t do enough for you. We stayed in a beach hut which was right on the beach number 247 right next the Mass bar which we loved and the food was delicious. We couldn’t fault this island the room was very clean and comfortable the food was great we loved the Indian restaurant. Yes we would go back as found this very good value for money.
