Elevators are not working at this hotel, so bear that in mind if that makes a difference for you. I discovered this by chance after booking, and came back and searched reviews for the word "elevator." It seems to be a frequent problem here. I booked a room at this hotel today, and nowhere did it mention the faulty elevators until AFTER I booked the room, and even then, it didn't pop up a warning or mention this on the confirmation email. I happened to look under my "Trips" on the Marriott website and saw a small warning about elevators being out and them working to fix the problem. This despite the fact I had requested a mobility accessible room in comments! Fortunately, I was able to cancel and get my rewards points back. It's bad enough that the Marriott site makes it so difficult to determine when mobility accessible rooms are available, but to not mention the elevator is out of order is unacceptable.

This Fairfield was an interesting one. The room was a little small for a Fairfield but still very enjoyable. The options at the Free breakfast was great with a wide selection. But the Food options were limited for dinner around the Hotel. But otherwise Enjoyable!

Great stay. Incredible value. Exceptionally clean. Our room with king bed was on ground floor near the stairwell. The room was quiet; we did not hear any freeway noise. Lobby and room decor were pleasant. I would guess from appearances that the hotel was fairly new. Parking was super convenient just beyond the stairwell and seemed secure. Staffers were courteous and efficient. I would stay here again.

Super quiet, with a view over an endless wheat field - this is Kansas! Comfortable room, plenty of free parking, cool outdoor patio, and a better than average breakfast. This makes a nice stopover halfway across Kansas when you are driving on Highway 50.

My family and I were all easily accommodated for my brothers wedding. The location was central to all the places we had to go during the weekend. McPherson was a quiet and nice town. My husband and I enjoyed our room and the communication with the staff was excellent. Dawn the manager was very friendly and provided exceptional service. I would stay at this hotel again anytime while in McPherson. Thank you!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn. This is a modern, attractive, quiet, well run hotel that is convenient to I-135 and close to severql restaurants and shops. The breakfast was also good.

Like probably most of the guests, we stopped for a night while driving through the area on the highway. It's a newish Fairfield that unfortunately isn't being maintained. There was significant wear-and-tear to the hard product. Staff were going through the motions, not in a rude way but not in a sincere and particularly hospitable way either. We were very disappointed that our top-level Bonvoy elite status wasn't recognized. Would it be that difficult for the hotel GM to leave a personalized hotel or for the housekeeping manager to pay attention a simple request like 100% feather pillows instead of two feather pillows and two fake feather pillows? Loyalty is a two-way street. We know this is a franchise and not a Marriott owned or operated property, but franchisees should be appreciative of their brand's best customers. Next time, we would probably keep driving to Wichita.

This hotel is only about 4 years old, so things are pretty new & clean. This was an "as expected" stay with none of those "surprises" you never want to have. Check-in was quick, friendly, and efficient. Check-out a little less so as we had to wait about 5 minutes as there was nobody at the front desk; then a staff member came up behind us carrying her breakfast and went in the back to tell the desk clerk to come out, which she eventually did. Breakfast was average for these kind of free-breakfast places.

In town for a family wedding and couldn’t be more pleased with this hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Pool was great for kids to burn energy. 24/7 fitness room was super clean. Free breakfast options was the best I’ve had in years - 2-3 times more options than other hotels I’ve stayed in this year with lots of hot options. We’ll stay here when we’re back to McPherson for events.
