Ummm best hotel ever. The rooms were beautiful and the food was excellent. The beach is right outside your door and so is the pool. Highly suggest trying the Mediterranean platter as a beach side snack - it was perfectly light for a day or swimming and relaxing.

A beautiful family-run hotel! Tucked away like a hidden treasure, Kalimera offers a relaxed vibe with a pool and the beach just a few steps away. We especially loved having paddle boards, kayaks, and even a Cornhole game available. At the bar, Elvis mixes up creative cocktails, mocktails, or fresh juices just the way you like them. The fusion of Belizean, Mediterranean, and Lebanese flavors is also deliciously unique, and if you get to know the kitchen staff Aracely and Gloria, they might even surprise you with extra Fried Jacks at breakfast. Our room welcomed us with a gentle lemongrass scent and felt spacious, with thoughtful touches like plenty of hangers for wet clothes, an abundance of towels, organic toiletries, and of course an AC and TV. Jessica and Ayla at reception made us feel right at home and offered some great local tips for day tours and activities. Every detail at Kalimera made our stay special and memorable: a perfect blend of relaxation, amazing food, and fun experiences! We can't wait to return to!

Just returned from another incredible stay at Kalimera Beach Hotel with friends, and it was absolutely perfect. Every detail is so well thought through, making for a seamless and relaxing experience. The staff here is exceptional, making sure every moment of our stay was perfect. A special shoutout to Aracely and Gloria in the kitchen, who make the best fry jacks in all of Belize! Every breakfast was a treat, and the snacks they prepared during the day were so delicious! Jessica and Ayla at the front desk were amazing, helping us book unforgettable snorkeling tours and a visit to the ATM cave. The service is impeccable, the atmosphere is pure paradise, and leaving is the hardest part. Can’t wait to return!

We stayed in this romantic and beautiful hotel for 4 nights. The whole team is super kind and professional, Kristy and Victor are just the perfect host with a kind and special thought for us every day ( freshly baked donuts from the kitchen, conch fritters and piña colada at the pool bar…) It was very hard to leave this place! Highly recommend to maximise your belizean experience!

Wonderful hotel! The attention to detail in this hotel is crazy good. I stayed at Kalimera Beach Hotel for 4 nights and I think this place is really a paradise. The owners of the hotel are very kind and always helpful, the staff warm and friendly. The room is spacious with a big and soft bed. We always woke up at dawn in the morning and the view from the room was really spectacular. If you want there is the possibility to do sports, each room is equipped with yoga mats. I really couldn't find any faults during this stay! Super recommended!

Wonderful Hotel!! Rooms are amazing. The owners, Viktor and Kristy, poor their Heart and blood into their work making sure at any chanse that their guests feel confortable. Every area of the facility, from the reception to the tiki bar is minimal but classy, creating a warm atmosphere helped also from the material choice: Marbol and wood. Breakfast hier is a real treat! Form omlette to scramble eggs with bacon but also offering some lighter option ( like yogurt/ granola and fresh fruit) makes everyone happy!! Fresh made juices will make your breakfast perfect all around. A last mention for the team of this wonderful hotel, always nice and caring, they just reflect the passion and attention at details that the owners embraces. Just perfect!

What a beautiful place. I had been a few times in different parts of Belize and did not expect Placencia to become my favorite. Mostly because this beautiful hotel. The owners are often present and they strive to make the place work like a clock. Beautiful rooms, great breakfast (included), the beach is flat and amazing. Saw a bunch of stingrays, starfish and jellyfish. Everything works. The warm water, the AC. The bathrooms are pristine. Room service is very meticulous and constant, changing sheets and towels. The hotel has a great size pool, kid friendly, and a great, very well stocked tiki-like-bar. I had the chance to visit other premium, more expensive hotels and Kalimera is up there with them, nothing to envy those other places. Food was great, like home cooked. Ceviches and piña coladas are amazing. Will come back, for sure.

My family and I booked a two-night stay at Kalimera Beach Hotel as a short weekend trip/ fun activity for us to do with our toddler (almost 3) before he returns to school in January. We stayed in the Sea View Apartment. It was impeccably clean, spacious, stylishly designed, and toddler-proof, to our pleasant surprise! The property is wonderful, as there is beach access directly from the rooms. My toddler loved this, and we spent plenty of time making sandcastles and swimming in the sea. As an added bonus, the hotel actually provided a sand bucket and moulds for fun in the sand! The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Although not on the breakfast menu, the kitchen staff happily made pancakes for our picky-eating toddler for breakfast. The owners and the staff went over and beyond to make our short trip a lovely one. As we were packing up to leave, my toddler asked when we would come back. I highly recommend Kalimera Beach Hotel, and we will definitely be back!

This hotel just opened and I cannot say enough about how beautiful it is! Gorgeous, white sand Beach and amazing attention to detail with every part of the design. The breakfast was delicious and the service was exquisite. My husband and I highly recommend and will be back!
